This role oversees all external communications functions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and driving impactful, consistent messaging that enhances EY GDS’s brand, reputation and market presence globally.\nKey responsibilities\nLead and oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive external communications strategy, integrating PR, thought leadership, social media, digital marketing, industry relations, awards, events and employee advocacy to support the organizations’ business goals.\nDeep understanding and strong portfolio in B2B client marketing, media relations, digital marketing, thought leadership, employer branding, crisis management and executive communications.\nManage and empower diverse teams, fostering collaboration across global hubs and service lines to deliver localized and global campaigns.\nPartner with EY global teams BMC teams and GDS BMC hubs and Centers of Excellence to ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment and effective campaign activation.\nGuide the creation and dissemination of PR and thought leadership content and executive positioning to strengthen leadership visibility and market trust.\nMonitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and continuously improve communication impact.\nEnsure governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all external communications activities, including team, budget and vendor management.\nDeliver regular performance insights and reports to senior leadership, demonstrating value andpt guiding decision-making.\nQualifications and skills\n12+ years of extensive leadership experience in external communications within complex, global organizations.\nProven ability to develop and execute integrated communications strategies that drive business growth and brand reputation.\nExcellent strategic thinking, communication, and influencing skills.\nDeep understanding of media relations, thought leadership, and executive communications.\nProved portfolio of successful employer branding programs and campaign.\nAdvance knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools and techniques including solid hands-on experience.\nAbility to translate complex BMC analytics data into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.
