Our valuations practice provides real estate valuation, analytical services and other business advisory services to developers, builders, investors, lenders and Fortune 500 companies.\nThe opportunity\nWe are looking for highly analytical and detail-oriented Associate Managers with expertise in Business Valuations to join EY-Corporate Finance practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis and valuations across a variety of asset classes and industries. You will work closely with the stakeholders to deliver accurate, insightful, and timely valuation reports that drive key business and investment decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a prominent firm and develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring, and learning & development.\nYour key responsibilities\nPerform company and asset valuations using methods such as DCF (Discounted Cash Flow), Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions.\nPrepare valuation reports, presentations, and financial models for internal and external stakeholders.\nAnalyse financial statements, market data, and industry trends.\nSupport audit and tax-related valuations and assist with fair value measurements under IFRS/GAAP.\nMaintain and update valuation models and databases.\nExposure to engagements for intangible business valuations for management planning; mergers and acquisitions (M&A); financial reporting; tax and regulatory compliance; restructuring and reorganization; and corporate strategy.\nExperience with secondary research, report writing and detailed financial modelling.\nMaintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with EY offices globally\nSupervise, develop and mentor professionals at the Staff and Senior level.\nUse current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.\nSkills and attributes for success\nExcellent thoughtfulness, project management, communication, interpersonal and teaming skills\nExperience in Equity Research, Investment Banking and Corporate Finance\nExperience in financial modelling, including experience building models from scratch in MS Excel and related software preferred\nWillingness and ability to travel, when necessary\nFamiliarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nA post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA) or Business with 6-8 years of related work experience\n2-4 years direct experience in utilizing Valuation techniques and methodologies such as Purchase Price Allocations (PPA), Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Income Approach, market comparable, etc. in a business valuation firm or practice or in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, financial research, national valuation firm or experience working in a corporate finance role for an organization, preferably for M&A activities Experience in financial modelling including experience building models from scratch in MS Excel and related software preferred\nPreferable achievement in or significant progress towards a CFA, ASA, CPA or related certification\nStrong communication and presentation skills\nWhat we look for\nA Team of people with commercial acumen, technical experience and enthusiasm to learn new things in this fast-moving environment\nAn opportunity to be a part of a market-prominent, multi-disciplinary team of 3500 + professionals, in the only integrated global transaction business worldwide.\nOpportunities to work with EY SaT practices globally with prominent businesses across a range of industries\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
