You will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business and customer expectations. The role demands working knowledge of test automation concepts and tools, with hands-on experience in Java-based automation frameworks. Experience in the Insurance domain is highly desirable but not required for Staff role.\nSkills and attributes for success\nExperience in the Insurance domain is desirable, with Guidewire Property & Casualty (P&C) knowledge considered a significant advantage.\nSolid understanding of Software Testing Foundations and QA best practices.\nAbility to analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.\nBasic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case design techniques, and defect management processes.\nAbility to create and execute test cases based on business requirements, and accurately document test results and defects.\nExposure to Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and SIT activities, with an understanding of Agile delivery practices.\nExperience executing manual test cases and validating application functionality against defined requirements.\nExperience managing the complete defect lifecycle, including defect identification, logging, tracking, retesting, and closure.\nKnowledge of test automation principles and hands-on experience with automation tools such as Java Selenium. Playwright, TypeScript, and Python is a plus.\nBasic knowledge on REST API testing\nHave good knowledge on Locators, Xpath\nBasic SQL knowledge for data validation and testing activities.\nExperience with Git/GitHub version control.\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).\nExperience with Test Data Management and test environment setup.\nExposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.\nKnowledge of automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM).\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work effectively within Agile and cross-functional delivery teams.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nGraduate/Post Graduate with technical background\n2-5 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and varied domains.\nAt least 2 years of experience in test automation is a must\nIdeally, you’ll also have\n.\nShould have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly\nShould be ready to do an individual contributor\nWhat working at EY offers\nAt EY, we’re dedicated to helping our clients, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies - and the work we do with them is as varied as they are.\nYou get to work with inspiring and meaningful projects.
