We help clients with people based, asset based & integrated solutions, leveraging our deep sector and domain expertise to deliver enhanced value to our clients.\nGMx is part of the Managed Services Global Enabled Business Unit (MS GEBU) that provides end-to-end support for Managed Services (MS) opportunities - from solutioning and pricing to negotiation, contracting, transition, risk management and delivery improvement. Its purpose is to make MS expertise more accessible across Super Regions and Service Lines, as well as to reduce firms’ risk, reduce fragmentation and improve consistency. GMx will enable EY to better respond to the increasing volume and complexity of managed services opportunities while supporting consistent, high-quality client experience\nThe opportunity\nThe Transition Shared PMO team will provide flexible project management and coordination support across Managed Services transitions. The team will enable proportionate support for where full transition team is not in scope, while also augmenting Transition Managers on larger or more complex engagements.\nThis role offers the opportunity to build strong foundational experience in transition governance, project coordination, program management, stakeholder management and management reporting in a global, fast-paced environment.\nYour key responsibilities\nSupport project and program governance activities by maintaining status trackers, dashboards, and reporting packs.\nPrepare weekly, monthly, and management reports to provide visibility into project progress, milestones, risks, and action items.\nMaintain Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs and follow up on mitigation and resolution actions.\nCoordinate project schedules, workplans, and milestone tracking to ensure timely execution of activities.\nSupport resource tracking, utilization reporting, and capacity planning activities.\nOrganize and facilitate project meetings, governance forums, and stakeholder reviews.\nCapture meeting minutes, track action items, and drive timely closure of pending tasks and decisions.\nCollaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.\nMaintain project documentation, repositories, templates, and governance artifacts in accordance with organizational standards.\nSupport audit, compliance, and quality assurance activities through accurate documentation and record management.\nMonitor project performance metrics and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate effectively with global and regional stakeholders across time zones.\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong organization, planning and coordination skills, with close attention to detail.\nClear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to summarize information concisely.\nAnalytical and problem-solving orientation, with the ability to identify gaps and report escalate concerns promptly.\nComfort working across multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines in a dynamic environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with project tracking or reporting tools is an advantage.\nCollaborative, dependable and proactive working style, with a strong focus on quality and follow-through.\nCore Capabilities\nProject and workplan coordination\nGovernance and management reporting\nRisk, action, issue and dependency tracking\nStakeholder coordination and follow-up\nDocumentation and information management\nAnalytical thinking and attention to detail\nFunctional Capabilities\nAbility to develop and maintain project plans, trackers, dashboards and status reports.\nAbility to support governance forums and maintain clear records of actions, decisions and outcomes.\nAbility to consolidate data from multiple workstreams and convert it into structured management information.\nUnderstanding of project or transition lifecycle concepts, milestones, dependencies, risks and stage gates.\nAbility to apply standard PMO methods consistently while tailoring support to the needs of smaller and larger deals.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nMBA from a Tier 2 institution (with engineering background a plus)\nFresh graduates or candidates with up to 2-3 years of relevant experience in PMO, project coordination, consulting, operations support.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nGood analytical, communication, organization and stakeholder coordination skills.\nAbility to work from GDS, with Bangalore as the preferred location.\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nExposure to transition (good to have), managed services(good to have), project management or business operations (must have).\nFamiliarity with PMO tools, dashboards, project plans and RAID management.\nExperience working with virtual or cross-border teams.\nA relevant project management certification or foundational training (good to have).\nWhat we look for\nA proactive and dependable professional who takes ownership and follows through on commitments.\nA structured thinker who can bring clarity, discipline and transparency to multiple workstreams.\nA collaborative team member who communicates clearly and builds effective working relationships.\nAn adaptable learner who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment.\nA quality-focused individual who can support with consistent PMO execution.\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
