As part of our expansion strategy, we would like to invite you to join this dynamic team.\nYour key responsibilities\nYou’ll lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements, taking a professional, practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence.\nIdentify opportunities in the market and lead on developing our commercial proposition to new and existing clients.\nBuild and maintain tax relationships with our own clients.\nAdvise how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or good & services tax (GST) impact clients’ supply chain and financial and accounting systems.\nIdentify and address areas of risk, advise clients on the taxation implication of global trade and assist them in complying with customs regulations.\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nStrong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others \nAdvanced written and verbal communication skills\nDedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure \nFoster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment\nTo qualify for the role you must have\nA bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field\nMinimum of 5-8 years of work experience in indirect tax or a related field\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nA professional qualification in Tax\nHands-on experience in GST implementation and technical review\nWhat we look for\nHighly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.
