Your role will adapt these capabilities into robust Drupal and CMS delivery.\nYour key responsibilities\nImplement and configure Drupal-based pages, content structures, templates and reusable components for digital platforms and knowledge portals.\nTranslate information architecture, UX designs and content models into practical Drupal structures, including content types, taxonomies, menus, views and publishing patterns.\nWork closely with UX/UI designers, content designers, business analysts and communications specialists to deliver coherent digital user experiences.\nSupport editorial workflows, content governance, page publishing and quality assurance in CMS environments.\nSupport proposal and solution development by contributing Drupal-related assumptions, role input, implementation considerations and technical clarifications.\nContribute to multilingual and accessibility-conscious content delivery, including coordination with localisation and QA activities.\nParticipate in iterative delivery cycles, including pilot feedback, stakeholder validation and refinement of digital platform components.\nApply good engineering practices, including Git-based collaboration, configuration management, code review, documentation and release discipline.\nHelp strengthen Studio+ positioning in the public institutional ecosystem by contributing to reusable delivery patterns, CMS standards and Drupal capability development.\nSkills and attributes for success\n8+ years of hands-on Drupal development or site-building experience, with at least 3 years of professional Drupal web development experience in EU institutions\nStrong practical knowledge of Drupal content types, taxonomy, menus, views, roles and permissions, configuration management and CMS publishing workflows.\nExperience with PHP, Twig, Composer, Drush, Git and modern Drupal delivery practices.\nExperience working with content-heavy platforms, portals, knowledge sites, digital toolkits or public-facing web services.\nAbility to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UX, content, business analysis, communications and technology.\nGood understanding of accessibility, usability, performance, security and maintainability considerations in web delivery.\nStrong communication skills and ability to explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.\nFluency in English.\nTo qualify for the role you must have\nExperience in Drupal development, Drupal site-building or CMS implementation roles.\nProven track record of delivering Drupal-based pages, content structures, templates or reusable components.\nExperience working in complex stakeholder environments, ideally involving public sector, international, multilingual or content-heavy platforms.\nAbility to operate effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.\nStrong ownership mindset, attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.\nFluency in English (C1)\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nExperience working on projects for International Public Institutions, European Commission DGs, Agencies or public-sector bodies.\nKnowledge of Drupal 9, Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 and modern Drupal architecture patterns.\nExperience with multilingual Drupal implementations, content translation workflows or localisation QA.\nUnderstanding of digital service design, UX collaboration and content architecture.\nDrupal certification, open-source Drupal contribution or strong Drupal portfolio evidence.\nAdditional EU languages.\nWhat we look for\nSenior specialists who combine strong Drupal delivery skills with a collaborative, consulting-oriented mindset.\nProfessionals who can bridge technology, design and content to build practical and sustainable digital experiences.\nIndividuals who are quality-driven, structured, proactive and comfortable working with complex stakeholder groups.\nTeam members who contribute to EY Studio+ culture, capability development and long-term growth in public-sector digital platforms.\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
