In this role, you will primarily focus on defining the approach, shaping solutions, and guiding execution. You will help clients understand required changes across their operations landscape, business processes, and operating models, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.\nThe opportunity\nOur Operations team is one of the largest M&A advisory groups, focusing on transformation advice for private and public clients. Our deep operational expertise, sector knowledge, and global network of local market experts enable us to add real value to our clients' transactions and transformation initiatives.\nYour key responsibilities\nSupport end-to-end operations workstreams across strategic transformations and M&A transactions\nBuild and maintain Excel-based analyses, models, and data packs; perform data gathering and analysis; and synthesize findings into structured insights and recommendations\nAnalyze business functions and operational performance across areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, and Corporate Functions\nAssess operational risks, value creation opportunities, operational synergies, and performance improvement initiatives, and support the development of practical recommendations\nCoordinate transaction and transformation workstreams and manage relationships with client stakeholders, including senior management and C-level executives\nDevelop high-quality client deliverables, including executive presentations, findings reports, business cases, steering materials, and client-ready PowerPoint outputs with a strong storyline and executive focus\nTranslate business needs into practical operational improvement, transformation, and value creation initiatives\nLeverage AI tools and innovative approaches to enhance analysis, delivery efficiency, and identification of improvement opportunities\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\n3-6 years of professional experience in operational consulting, transaction advisory, due diligence, value creation, restructuring, transformation, or performance improvement projects\nGood understanding of business functions and their interdependencies, particularly Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Operations, and SG&A\nAbility to assess business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of practical recommendations\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modelling, advanced Excel, business case development, and financial analysis\nExperience using AI, automation, and digital tools to support analysis, insights generation, and day-to-day project delivery\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Operations Management or a related discipline\nAbility to travel and work across EU (up to 20% annually)\nExcellent written and verbal command of English and an additional European language (French, Spanish, Italian, or German preferred)\nOccasional work outside normal business hours to work with international teams (e.g. United States)\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nPreferred experience in M&A transactions (e.g., due diligence, synergy assessment, integration, separation, restructuring, or value creation)\nExperience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers\nExperience working in an international environment\nWhat we look for\nAs we are a dynamic team of passionate specialists, and we work in international teams all over the world, we will look for the same business acumen.
