Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.\nYour key responsibilities\nProvide Australian income tax advisory and compliance services to clients in banking, wealth management, asset management including superannuation funds, and insurance sectors.\nAdvise a portfolio of financial services clients on complex tax issues, managing compliance, provisions, and tax advice.\nDevelop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.\nOversee and develop a team to ensure quality delivery of tax services while collaborating with the global EY tax network.\nSkills and attributes for success\nAustralian corporate income tax and/or fund tax experience ideally gained in a top tier accounting firm, mid tier accounting firm, corporate business (including superannuation, insurance, banking and wealth and asset management) - 5+ plus years of experience\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex engagements, with strong influencing skills to pull the right levers to drive the best outcomes\n\nExcellent client facing skills with the confidence to lead client meetings and build a network\n\nAn ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations to your clients\n\nCompleted CA qualifications or equivalent\n\nIdeally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes.
