We help them tap into the latest technologies to achieve transformational outcomes and be more agile, innovative, resilient and better equipped to respond to disruptive change.\nThe EY-Microsoft Alliance plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, shaping, and closing joint transformation opportunities between EY, Microsoft, and our clients.\nAs a Global Microsoft Financial Services Alliance Relationship Director, you will work with Microsoft Global Alliance Leadership, EY Financial Services sector leadership, regional alliance teams and Microsoft counterparts to coordinate and deliver sector-led alliance activation. The role will manage the day-to-day Microsoft alliance relationship for Financial Services, including relationship collaboration and governance, sector program oversight, pipeline and performance intelligence, contracts and compliance management, and field activation across priority Financial Services accounts, working closely with EY Financial Services sector leadership.\nThis role requires a strong understanding of enterprise technology and the Microsoft ecosystem, combined with deep Financial Service industry knowledge and the ability to connect sectors priorities to alliance-led growth.\nYour key responsibilities\nYour primary responsibilities will include:\nExecute Microsoft Financial Services alliance strategy and objectives in alignment with Microsoft Global Alliance priorities and EY Financial Services sector growth agenda. \nFacilitate top-to-top Microsoft and EY Financial Services relationships and program management to mobilize on strategic sector opportunities, accelerate field engagement and drive action. \nDrive results through disciplined, industrialized governance with clear accountability across Global service lines/practices, sectors, priority accounts/regions and Microsoft counterparts. \nProvide actionable insights to Microsoft Alliance executives and EY Financial Services leadership, including pipeline, performance, account activation and market observations. \nSupport the identification, development and activation of Microsoft priority solutions and partner programs across Financial Services, including local/regional activation and compliance requirements. \nDeliver alliance intelligence with complete and accurate financial reporting, Microsoft impact/influence, sector pipeline visibility and account activation insights. \nIdentify and activate priority Financial Services accounts, supporting business plans, executive relationship mapping, operating cadence and enabling alliance contracts where required. \nDrive compliance with internal policies, independence requirements, alliance governance and commercial requirements. \nCollaborate with enablement and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) teams to define sector-specific messaging, sales collateral and campaign materials for Financial Services execution. \nPartner with regional alliance, sector, account and BMC leaders to execute Financial Services alliance marketing and enablement activities. \nContribute to the Global Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship network through content development, knowledge sharing, market insights and leading practices relevant to Microsoft and Financial Services. \nThis is a global role, optimally based in the US, UK or Europe. You can anticipate a mix of virtual work, regular coordination with Global and Regional teams, and some travel based on business need.\nSkills and attributes for success\nTo qualify for the role you must have:\nProvide leadership in relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, operational support, strong relationship building skills and highly organized. \nDeep Financial Services industry knowledge, including Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management, with an understanding of the business, regulatory, risk, data, AI and technology trends shaping transformation across the sector.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem - including Azure, Data & AI, Security, Business Applications and Copilot - and the ability to position these capabilities against Financial Services transformation priorities.\nAbility to translate Financial Services client priorities into Microsoft-enabled alliance plays, joint go-to-market activities, pipeline acceleration and priority account activation.\nExperience in alliance management, business development, go-to-market activation or sector-led growth in a technology or professional services company. \nExperience and evidence of success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships with internal and external stakeholders. \nHighly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and a proven track record delivering alliance sales, pipeline activation and revenue outcomes. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working across regions in a global alliance, partner or ecosystem-led sales model.\nExperience working in the Financial Services sector\nRelevant Microsoft or enterprise technology certifications.\nWhat we look for:\nA sector-minded alliance professional who can engage credibly with Financial Services leaders, connect industry priorities to Microsoft-enabled transformation, and convert strategic direction into practical field activation.\nA self-starter who is able to work independently while also communicating progress and challenges with others on the team.\nComfortable escalating complex issues with recommendations to leadership .\nStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects at a time.\nComfortable working with others within EY with unique personalities, cultures and working styles and can adapt your approach to best interact.\nWhat we offer you\nThe compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. The base salary range for this job is: \nNew York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $198,900 to $357,900\nBay Area California offices - $207,100 to $372,900\nAll other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $165,700 to $328,100\n\nIndividual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
