This role offers the opportunity to influence architecture decisions, mentor junior developers, and deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions.\nAs a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge and experience by working on exciting digital transformation projects using modern technologies and best practices, while supporting clients in selecting and implementing the most suitable technical solutions.\nYour key responsibilities\nAs a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from design to delivery and maintenance, in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will work closely with global stakeholders and customers to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.\nDesign and implement new features and enhancements for existing applications\nLead research and development activities for new libraries, components, and technologies\nRapidly prototype new functionalities and applications\nReview code, ensure best practices, and mentor junior team members\nIdentify, analyze, and fix bugs to ensure application stability and performance\nCommunicate effectively within globally distributed Agile teams\nHandle technical queries from customers and business users\nMaintain high development standards and continuously strive for better code quality\nActively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, grooming sessions, demos, and team activities\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong experience working in Agile and fast-paced development environments\nExcellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English\nAbility to collaborate effectively in distributed and multicultural teams\nHigh sense of ownership, quality-oriented mindset, and continuous improvement attitude\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nMinimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in software development.\nDegree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience\nProven experience developing large-scale web applications and SaaS solutions\nStrong experience with Microsoft web technologies: C#, .NET Core\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nExpert-level experience in at least one modern frontend framework: Angular or React\nExpert-level knowledge of TypeScript for web application development\nSolid experience with relational databases: MS SQL / SQL Azure, EF 6, EF Core\nExperience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB\nFamiliarity with Azure services: Key Vault, Azure Storage, Queues, Blob Storage\nExperience in unit testing frameworks: NUnit, Moq, Jest\nExperience using distributed version control systems such as Git or SVN\nExperience with collaboration and project tracking tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Asana\nCloud-based application development experience on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud\nBusiness analytics knowledge (a strong plus): Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Tableau, Anaplan\nNice to have\nExperience with responsive web design\nGood understanding of HTML5, CSS, and SCSS\nExperience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON\nExperience using and integrating Microsoft Power BI\nWhat we look for\nWe are looking for proactive, quality-driven professionals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and sharing knowledge within the team.
