You will be involved in solving complex technical challenges, including database migrations, upgrades, high availability implementations, disaster recovery solutions, and performance optimization, while contributing to the modernization and transformation of enterprise database environments in a collaborative, international delivery environment.\nWe are offering you a challenging and rewarding role. You will use your advanced expertise in Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server Administration to deliver secure, scalable, high-availability database solutions supporting critical business applications. This position provides opportunities to collaborate with global stakeholders while supporting large-scale database transformation, modernization, migration, and operational excellence initiatives.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nOversee Oracle and SQL Server database administration activities and identify opportunities for performance, scalability, and availability improvements.\nAccountable for ensuring database standards, operational procedures, and governance policies are followed across enterprise environments.\nAct as the first-level technical escalation point for Oracle and SQL Server related incidents and production issues.\nPerform and support end-to-end database migrations across platforms, including Oracle to Oracle, SQL Server to SQL Server, and Oracle to SQL Server migration projects.\nLead technical assessments, solution design, migration planning, and implementation activities.\nManage database backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery solutions, and high-availability architectures.\nSupport database performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring activities.\nWork closely with application, infrastructure, and project teams during database upgrade and migration initiatives.\nEnsure database configurations, operational guidelines, and technical documentation are maintained and aligned with enterprise standards.\nPerform technical reviews and implement corrective actions to improve database reliability and operational efficiency.\nIdentify at-risk database environments and proactively mitigate operational and migration-related risks.\nStrong Understanding Of\nOracle Database administration (11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, 21c and later versions).\nOracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN Backup & Recovery.\nSQL Server administration (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).\nSQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping, Clustering.\nPerformance tuning and troubleshooting for Oracle and SQL Server databases.\nDatabase security, compliance, auditing, and patch management.\nCross-platform database migrations and heterogeneous migration methodologies.\nLinux and Windows server administration fundamentals.\nProduction support and operational database management.\nExperience in Executing End-to-End Database Migrations Including\nOracle Database upgrades and platform migrations.\nOracle RAC and Data Guard migrations.\nSQL Server version upgrades and migrations.\nCross-platform migrations (Windows to Linux, Linux to Unix, Physical to Virtual).\nOracle to SQL Server migration assessments and planning.\nData migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.\nHigh availability and disaster recovery setup and migration.\nDatabase consolidation and modernization initiatives.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nSupport database upgrades, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.\nPerform root cause analysis for production incidents and performance issues.\nConduct database health checks and recommend improvements.\nAutomate routine DBA activities using Shell, PowerShell, Python, or SQL scripting.\nSupport operational readiness reviews and migration go-live activities.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure stable database operations.\nSkills and Attributes for Success\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong team player with a proactive attitude.\nAbility to create technical documentation, migration runbooks, and Proof of Concept (POC) deliverables.\nWell-organized with strong attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nTo Qualify for the Role, You Must Have\n3-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle Database Administration and/or SQL Server Administration.\nStrong experience supporting production database environments.\nHands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and SQL Server High Availability technologies.\nExperience executing database upgrades and migration projects.\nHands-on experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting.\nExperience working on Linux and/or Windows server environments.\nKnowledge of scripting and automation tools.\nBTech / BE / MTech / MCA or equivalent qualification.\nAdditionally, Good to Have\nExperience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB administration.\nExperience in Exadata environments.\nExperience with Oracle GoldenGate, SQL Server Replication, or other replication technologies.\nDatabase migration certifications or relevant Oracle/Microsoft certifications.\nExperience designing database modernization and transformation strategies.\nExposure to enterprise-scale migration and consolidation programs.\nIdeally, You'll Also Have\nStrong customer-facing communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and within
