Responsibilities include collaboration and service provision to Consulting leaders to manage their portfolio and practice operations more efficiently and effectively. The role also requires delivery of support to Consulting Engagement teams to set-up, govern and deliver end to end engagement economics, quality and coordination. Responsibilities vary by seniority: junior levels focus on learning and supporting basic tasks, mid-levels handle more complex activities and lead meetings, and seniors oversee global operations, manage teams, and facilitate projects from initiation to completion. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities are essential for success at all levels.\nIn this role, the successful candidate will primarily support Consulting teams within the German speaking market, providing administrative, operational and project coordination support. The position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in engagement management, PMO processes and, over time, gain exposure to tender support, proposal coordination and bid management activities.\nYour key responsibilities\nProject Management and Coordination:\nCoordinate administrative and operational activities supporting consulting engagements and practice operations\nOrganize and facilitate meetings, including preparation of agendas, materials, action tracking and follow-up communication\nSupport centralized administrative processes and mandatory EY operational procedures\nPrepare presentations, reports and management materials using Microsoft Office tools\nDraft and coordinate professional communications with internal stakeholders and engagement teams\nSupport project teams in maintaining project documentation, trackers and reporting deliverables\nProvide PMO and operational support across multiple engagements while ensuring high quality and timely delivery\nClient Relationship and Quality Improvement\nSupport proposal and pursuit-related activities, including coordination of documents, timelines and contributors\nAssist with tender and bid management activities as part of long-term development within the role\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with proposal requirements and submission deadlines\nSkills and attributes for success\nGraduate, preferably Bachelor in Business Administration/Economics/Project Management or Master’s degree\nConfidence in dealing with senior-level contacts, both internally and externally\nStrong analytical/numerical skills and high degree of accuracy\nProactiveness and flexibility\nAbility to function as part of a team\nOrganization and self-discipline\nWillingness to learn and develop\nTo qualify for the role, you mut have\nPrevious relevant industry or project management experience of 3-5 years\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills\nFluent English communication - both written and verbal\nFluent German communication skills (minimum B2/C1 level), both written and verbal\nExperience in simple PMO activities, incl. leading project meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring effective communication among team members\nExperience in developing strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders\nExperience with project documentation, reports, and presentations that adhere to organizational standards\nStrong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nOpenness to support initiatives across the organization\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nInterest in developing expertise in proposal management, tender support and bid management\nExperience supporting consulting, professional services or multinational environments\nKnowledge of an additional European language\nExperience with PMO tools such as: Power BI, MS Visio, SharePoint, MS Planner, Jira, Confluence\nPM/PMO training or certification\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
