Secure Access manages a portfolio of in-office technologies including physical access, mobile credentials, secure print and scan, and digital lockers. These services ensure EY people can securely access buildings, devices, and equipment with minimal friction, while meeting global security and compliance standards.\nThe opportunity\nWe are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and detail-oriented Print Operations Technician within EY Secure Access. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of printers and server equipment. The Print Operations Technician will work closely with the customer to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency in the printing. Should be open to work in rotational shifts.\nYou will be part of a team of highly professional and skilled infrastructure technicians working 24*5 and on call weekends. You and the team will work within a complex global environment in collaboration with other technical teams on the ongoing projects and delivered services are of high importance. You will need to have the ability to work in a technically complex environment and at the same time understand, follow and help to improve workflow and processes.\nKnowledge and Skills Requirements\nOver 5+ years of relevant experience of working in an enterprise environment.\nKnowledge and experience with Active Directory, user/group/computer administration\nKnowledge and experience of PowerShell and scripting (optional)\nKnowledge and experience of working in an enterprise environment\nKnowledge within the Network area is a plus\nPrinter configuration and drivers\nInfluence user printing behavior - Optimize duplex and color printing\nDrastically reduce paper/toner usage - Pull Printing and print rules\nStrengthen IT print management - Centralize administration of users and devices\nEstablish confidential printing - Authentication and Pull Print\nSimplify document handling - Print anywhere, scan and share documents\nCentral Administration of users, services and devices to optimize IT operations and support\nEssential Tracking to continuously monitor print activity, pin-point problem areas up-front, fine tune and optimize even more\nAccess Control by adding Authentication to the printer to protect devices from unauthorized use of print, scan and fax functionalities\nKnowledge on scan to email, scan to file options\nKnowledge of various protocols such as SMB, SNMPv3\nKnowledge of creating and implementing infrastructure certificates\nKnowledge of SSL and TLS\nKnowledge of Cloud infrastructures\nConfidential Printing because Authentication with Pull Print ensures that prints are always delivered only into the right hands\nA modular approach offering a wide suite of flexible modules and add-ons to create the exact solution you need today - with expansion options for tomorrow\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues with printing equipment.\nDocumented knowledge of the following Print infrastructure print products is merit:\n Kofax Equitrac, ShareScan\n WJA, DCC (HP)\n LRS VPSx R3 and above\n Microsoft Universal Print\n Printix\n Ricoh SLNX v3\nPersonal profile/skills\n Demonstrated ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders up to Partnership level\n Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences\n Comfortable operating in global, matrixed organizations across multiple cultures and time zones\n Decisive, outcomes-driven, and able to take high personal ownership of complex problem spaces\n Experience managing vendors, contracts, and externally delivered services\n Passion for improving user experience while balancing security, compliance, and operational realities\n Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills\n Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\n Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail\n High integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgement\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
