You will work with clients across sectors and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design practical, sustainable and technology-enabled risk management solutions.\nThe opportunity\nWe are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in Enterprise Risk Management to join our Risk Management team. This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of a leading risk advisory practice while helping clients strengthen risk-informed decision-making, resilience and governance. The position will be based in Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.\nWorking in our practice, you will advise clients across a variety of industries and operating environments, lead high-quality engagements and develop your experience in ERM frameworks, risk appetite, risk reporting, risk culture and GRC solutions.\nYour key responsibilities\nAs part of the role, you will:\nLead and manage ERM, risk governance and GRC advisory engagements from planning through delivery.\nDesign, implement and enhance ERM frameworks aligned with recognised standards such as ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.\nFacilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments, risk workshops and risk identification sessions with senior stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain risk taxonomies, enterprise and functional risk registers, risk appetite statements, tolerance thresholds and key risk indicators.\nIntegrate risk management into strategy, business planning, budgeting, performance management and decision-making processes.\nEstablish risk monitoring, escalation and reporting mechanisms, including executive and Board-level dashboards.\nAssess strategic, operational, financial, technology, cyber, regulatory, third-party, sustainability and emerging risks.\nReview risk governance structures, management and Board risk committee arrangements and alignment with the three-lines model.\nLead risk maturity assessments, benchmarking exercises and ERM transformation programmes, and develop pragmatic improvement roadmaps.\nSupport the evaluation, design and implementation of GRC technology solutions and risk data visualisation.\nAdvise on operational resilience, business continuity and crisis risk management frameworks, where relevant.\nManage engagement scope, economics, resources, risks, quality, timelines and client expectations.\nBuild trusted relationships with senior management, risk committees and other key stakeholders, translating complex risk matters into clear recommendations.\nCoach and mentor team members and foster a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous learning.\nDevelop proposals, thought leadership and go-to-market initiatives that support the growth of the ERM practice.\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong knowledge of ERM frameworks, risk governance, risk appetite, risk culture, risk reporting and the three-lines model.\nAbility to translate complex risk information into concise executive and Board-level reporting.\nStrong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProven project and engagement management capability, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence presenting to senior management and governance forums.\nStrong proposal development, account management and business development capabilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data analytics, Power BI or GRC platforms would be advantageous.\nKnowledge of regulatory environments and risk practices across the MENA region would be advantageous.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nA bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.\nA minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including experience managing ERM or risk advisory engagements.\nDemonstrable experience in risk assessments, risk appetite, KRIs, risk reporting, governance and ERM improvement initiatives.\nExperience managing teams and engaging with senior client stakeholders.\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nA relevant professional certification such as CRMA, CIA, FRM, CRM, RIMS-CRMP, CISA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent risk, audit, finance or governance qualification.\nPrior consulting or professional-services experience.\nA master’s degree or MBA.\nArabic language capability, where relevant to client engagements in the MENA region.\nMobility and travel\nWillingness and ability to travel to client locations, sometimes at short notice.\nA valid passport and ability to meet applicable travel requirements.\nWhat working at EY offers\nAt EY, we’re dedicated to helping our clients, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies - and the work we do with them is as varied as they are.\nYou will work on inspiring and meaningful projects, supported by education, coaching and practical experience.
