This role requires a seasoned professional with strong capabilities in Salesforce architecture, solution design, technical leadership, and project management. The ideal candidate will guide development teams, work closely with business stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nSalesforce Technical Leadership\nLead the technical design and architecture for Salesforce solutions including\nApex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, integrations, and data models.\nDefine scalable architecture patterns, guardrails, coding standards, and best\npractices across Salesforce orgs.\nPerform technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure solutions adhere to\ngovernor limits, security, and platform constraints.\nEvaluate and recommend Salesforce products, AppExchange tools, and\nintegration frameworks.\nDelivery & Project Management\nOwn Salesforce project delivery lifecycle including requirements, solutioning,\nsprint planning, development, QA, and deployment.\nCollaborate with business SMEs, product owners, and cross-functional teams to\ntranslate requirements into technical solutions.\nOversee release management, environment strategy, DevOps pipelines, and\nchange management processes.\nManage project risks, dependencies, budget, stakeholders, and release\ntimelines.\nTeam Leadership & Mentorship\nLead, mentor, and support Salesforce developers, admins, consultants, and QA engineers.\nConduct technical capability assessments and drive continuous learning in areas like Apex, LWC, integrations, and Salesforce certifications.\nGuide junior team members on troubleshooting, performance tuning, design decisions, and platform best practices.\nBusiness & Stakeholder Management\nAct as the technical liaison between business teams and the engineering team.\nRun design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture discussions with customers/stakeholders.\nSupport pre-sales, effort estimation, solution demonstrations, and project scoping.\nOperational Excellence\nEnsure high-quality documentation for architecture, integrations, data flows, and technical builds.\nDrive improvement initiatives around DevOps, CI/CD, testing automation, and org optimization.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.\nMaintain compliance with Salesforce security, data governance, and architectural guidelines.\nSkills and attributes for success\n8-15 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years leading\nSalesforce projects.\nDeep technical expertise in:\nApex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL\nLightning Web Components (LWC) & Aura\nFlows, Process Builder (retirement-ready), and declarative tools\nSalesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), Platform Events, Integration Patterns\nData modeling, large datasets, and performance optimization\nStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture, multi-org strategy, governor\nlimits, sharing/security model, and deployment processes.\nHands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and\nideally field service or CPQ.\nStrong experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management, user stories, and sprint planning.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and leadership skills.\nPreferred Certifications\nSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I\nSalesforce Certified Platform Developer II\nSalesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (highly preferred)\nSalesforce Administrator / Advanced Administrator\nProject management certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe) are an added advantage.\nNice-to-Have\nExperience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git).\nExperience working with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Kafka.\nExperience managing multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.\nExposure to enterprise integration patterns, security standards, SSO, OAuth, and Identity.\nExperience guiding org consolidation, technical debt remediation, and modernization initiatives.\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
