An SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of the financial closing processes using SAP AFC, typically within an S/4HANA environment. This role focuses on automating, accelerating, and monitoring month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks across heterogeneous system landscapes\nYour Key Responsibilities\nDesign and configure SAP AFC task lists, dependencies, and workflows to streamline closing activities.\nStandardize and automate manual tasks, utilizing best-practice templates to accelerate the financial close.\nIntegrate AFC with on-premises and cloud systems, including SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and third-party systems.\nProvide real-time visibility into the closing progress across subsidiaries and headquarters, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a clear audit trail.\nResolve issues related to task execution, system connectivity, and data inconsistencies.\nCollaborate with finance, IT, and external stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure a smooth closing process.\nSkills and attributes for success\nIdeally, you’ll also\nYou’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements independently (Mandatory skill)\nAbility to drive design workshops independently with the client (Mandatory skill)\nMust be able to prepare the materials for the design workshops independently (Mandatory skill)\nMust send out the Meeting Minutes of the Workshop post each workshop that he/she leads (Mandatory skill)\nFollow-up on the action items from the workshops\nAdvanced knowledge and experience with SAP AFCC functionality.\nStrong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise domain knowledge with technology skills.\nWhat we look for\nCandidate must be a qualified CA / ICWA / MBA Finance/M.
