architect acts as the technical and functional authority across SAP modules, integrating SAP S/4HANA (or ECC), Ariba, Concur, SuccessFactors, finance, supply chain, and third-party systems while maintaining a Clean Core approach.\nKey Responsibilities\nSolution Architecture & Design\nDefine end-to-end solution architectures for SAP Ecosystem\nDesign scalable, secure, and resilient integrations with SAP S/4HANA, finance, and downstream systems.\nEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, integration patterns, and data models.\nTranslate business requirements into architectural designs, solution blueprints, and technical specifications.\nSAP & Clean Core\nArchitect integrations using standard SAP APIs, events, and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).\nEnforce Clean Core principles by minimizing customizations and leveraging standard capabilities.\nDefine extension patterns for requirements not met by standard functionality.\nEnsure data consistency across procurement, finance, and reporting platforms.\nGovernance & Quality\nServe as the design authority for SAP solutions across programs and releases.\nReview and approve functional designs, integrations, and configuration changes.\nIdentify architectural risks, technical debt, and mitigation strategies.\nSupport security, compliance, and audit requirements related to procurement systems.\nDelivery & Transformation Support\nPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to guide implementation.\nSupport SAP transformation initiatives (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA, Ariba expansion, procurement modernization).\nProvide architectural leadership across system integrators and vendors.\nSupport cutovers, go-lives, and post-implementation stabilization.\nStakeholder & Vendor Collaboration\nAct as the primary architecture liaison between IT, procurement, finance, and external partners.\nProvide thought leadership on SAP roadmap, capabilities, and industry best practices.\nMentor functional and technical team members on SAP architecture and integration patterns.\nRequired Qualifications\nCore Experience\n8+ years of SAP Architecture experience with strong hands-on SAP expertise.\nProven experience architecting SAP in large, complex enterprise environments.\nExperience integrating SAP products with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.\nExperience designing and building BTP applications/extensions\nTechnical & Functional Skills\nExperience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, IDocs, and event-driven integration.\nFamiliarity with Clean Core, side-by-side extensions, and SAP BTP concepts.\nExperience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)\nStrong understanding of data, security, and authorization models in SAP landscapes.\nArchitecture & Leadership\nAbility to create and communicate architecture diagrams, solution designs, and decision papers.\nExperience operating within enterprise architecture governance frameworks.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.\nComfortable working across global, matrixed organizations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.\nExposure to SAP Signavio, LeanIX, or enterprise process modeling tools.\nExperience supporting SAP RISE or cloud-based SAP deployments.\nSAP certifications (Ariba, S/4HANA, Integration, or Architecture) are a plus.\nSuccess Measures\nStable, scalable SAP solutions aligned to enterprise standards.\nReduced customization and technical debt through Clean Core adherence.\nHigh stakeholder satisfaction across procurement and finance.\nSuccessful delivery of initiatives on time and within architectural
