In this role you will focus on delivery of EY’s Program Risk Management (PRM) services to strengthening our clients Portfolio, Program and Project governance, risk management, and control environments through the delivery of risk-based, data-led, and value-adding services. These services can include project delivery confidence assessments, bespoke program assurance services and PMO maturity uplift advisory engagements. It requires strategic oversight, technical expertise, stakeholder management capability, and team leadership to deliver high-quality program assurance outcomes.\nOur roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.\nYour key responsibilities\nLeadership and Delivery\nLead and manage a portfolio of PRM services and associated portfolio, program and project advisory engagements, ensuring alignment with client strategies and risk profiles.\nOversee all phases of engagement delivery, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.\nProvide insights and recommendations that enhance governance, risk management, delivery confidence and stakeholder transparency.\nManage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.\nEnsure all work adheres to professional standards, EY methodologies, and regulatory requirements.\nClient and Stakeholder Management\nMaintain effective relationships with client executives, Steering Committees, Boards, Audit Committees, and management teams.\nSupport client organisations in strengthening their portfolio, program and project assurance frameworks.\nContribute to business development activities including proposals, presentations, and thought leadership.\nPrepare high-quality reports and presentations that clearly communicate program assurance findings and strategic insights.\nPeople and Practice Development\nSupervise, mentor, and develop staff across multiple engagement teams.\nSupport capability development and knowledge sharing within the Risk Transformation and wider Risk Consulting practice.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of PRM methodologies, tools, and templates.\nPromote innovation and the use of digital audit tools, analytics, and technology-enabled assurance approaches.\nTechnical and Strategic Contribution\nApply a sound understanding of Project Management and risk management frameworks and methodologies\nProvide subject matter expertise on program and project maturity, assurance frameworks, governance design, and performance measurement.\nLead or support transformation programs to uplift PRM functions, including strategy development and future state design.\nCollaborate with other EY service lines (e.g. Technology Risk, Cyber, ESG, Financial Audit) to deliver integrated assurance solutions\nSkills and attributes for success\nProven specialist expertise relevant to the role (Infrastructure, Technology, Energy Industries)\nExperience leading and developing high-performing teams through coaching, inclusion, and collaboration.\nExperience in operating in alignment with program and project management methodologies including:\nMSP - Managing Successful Programmes\nPRINCE2 - project governance and control\nPMBOK / PMI standards - project management body of knowledge\nMoP - Management of Portfolios\nAgile / Scrum / SAFe\nAssignment delivery - requirements, performance & presentation of results\nBusiness development, opportunity management, account & relationship management\nLeadership - problem solving & decision making, performance management, coaching & mentoring\nIdeally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes.
