As a Supply Chain & Operations Consultant, you will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to projects that span various industries, building valued relationships with external clients and internal peers by applying your academic background, a consulting mindset and personal skills to deliver meaningful results. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow through hands-on experience on a variety of engagements across multiple geographies, working on clients’ sites and EY offices.\nYour key responsibilities\nAs aSupply Chain & Operations Consultant, you will take part in demanding projects with local, regional and global reach, and you will:\nAssist in data collection and validation, and perform data analyses applying state of the art AI tools to identify gaps and improvement opportunities to achieve operational excellence, increased resilience and sustainability performance.\nTake part in client meetings and interview client stakeholders to understand their business requirements and strategic objectives. \nDocument business requirements, develop process flows and design / redesign processes using AI technologies, across logistics & fulfilment, manufacturing, planning and procurement domains, frequently as part of cross-functional EY teams. \nGather & analyze benchmarks and leading practices from Global & Regional sources of EY network and contribute in defining clients’ future state performance targets. \nSupport in the development, design and modeling of innovative future state scenarios for clients’ operations, collaborating with an extended eco-system of internal and external partners. \nSupport clients’ in implementing new supply chain strategies, operating models and processes, frequently working on clients’ offices and sites as part of joint EY and client’s teams. \nSkills and attributes for success\nProblem solving and critical thinking skills. \nStrong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach. \nExceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects under tight deadlines. \nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a diverse and global team. \nAbility to develop presentations that are clear and of high-quality, translating EY consulting services into meaningful and impactful valued propositions for clients. \nCuriosity and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies, staying abreast of the latest developments in emerging AI technologies. \nA passion and motivation to interact with clients and provide them with high quality service. \nA client-service mindset. \nSelf-motivation and a proactive attitude toward personal and professional development in Consulting. \nFlexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving business needs and working effectively in dynamic environments.\nWhat we look for\nExcellent academic background, including a Bachelor and / or Master’s degree in STEM or Business domains, ideally with a specialization in Supply Chain & Operations Management. \nKnowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, for modelling, design or simulation, ideally with relevant certifications.\nAdvanced proficiency in MS Office applications with relevant trainings, certifications or practical proof of expertise. \nKnowledge, and ideally certification, in using Copilot and / or other GenAI tools will be consider as a strong asset. \nExcellent written and spoken English required; Strong skills in German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Spanish are a plus. \nWorking experience (up to 5 years) in Management Consulting or in business analysis roles in a corporate environment within supply chain & operations management will be considered as a plus. \nWhat’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team.
