Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.\nThe opportunity\nThis role is responsible for reviewing multi country Corporate/ Group Statutory reporting process including financial statement close processes.\nYour key responsibilities\nMeticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth finalization of books, and statutory reporting\nPreparing/Reviewing of standardized Group GAAP to Local GAAP bridging adjustments for multi-country engagements within central technology\nGain a thorough understanding of business processes and operations adopted by the client to identify their requirements and ensure it is met through regular updates, schedules and reports\nAbility to provide timely and comprehensive answers to clients’ queries\nWillingness to challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls and improve quality\nReview financial statements and schedules prepared by the team for accuracy and compliance\nReview the progress dash board of multi country engagements and conduct review meetings with multiple stakeholders\nTo foster working relationships with the team and across departments\nTo provide adequate guidance to the team on technical front and create a value proposition\nManage additional project-related responsibilities as well as adhoc requests from internal stakeholders\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nSkills and attributes for success\n3-6yrs of experience in statutory reporting; 1-2yrs of experience in people management role\nEnd to end knowledge of accounting principles (Dip in IFRS, US GAAP)\nExperience in Statutory European country GAAPs would be an added advantage\nWorking Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/ Oracle experience is preferred)\nTo qualify for the role you must have\nCA/CPA/ACCA with overall 3 - 6 Yrs of experience\nCA pursuing/ACCA (at least 10 papers cleared) with 8 years of experience\nB.COM/M.COM with overall 5 - 9 Years of experience\nFluent in English; knowledge of other foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an asset;\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nMust be motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills\nVery good work organization, initiative and commitment\nWhat we look for\nVery good knowledge of Excel and other financial tools\nFluent in English; knowledge of other foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an advantage\nWhat we offer\nEY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
