You will lead engagements, manage client relationships, coach and develop team members, and contribute to business development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to help clients navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape while making a meaningful impact on our people, clients, and communities.\n\nResponsibilities\nManage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality client service.\nProvide tax planning, tax compliance, and tax advisory services to local and multinational clients.\nReview tax returns, tax provisions, and other tax-related deliverables prepared by junior team members.\nAdvise clients on tax risks, opportunities, and regulatory developments affecting their business operations.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand EY's services.\nLead, coach, and mentor Tax Staff, Seniors, and Supervisors, supporting their professional growth and development.\nManage engagement budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure compliance with EY quality and risk management standards.\nStay informed of changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry trends and translate these developments into practical client solutions.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EY to deliver integrated solutions to clients.\nContribute to business development initiatives, proposals, and networking activities to support the growth of the Tax practice in Aruba.\n\nSkills and Attributes for Success\nStrong leadership, people management, and coaching abilities.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nExceptional written and verbal communication (Dutch & English a must) and presentation skills.\nAbility to build trusted client relationships and identify new business opportunities.\nProfessionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to quality.\nCommercial awareness and a client-focused mindset.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nAt least 5-8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and/or tax advisory services.\nDemonstrated experience managing client engagements and leading teams.\nStrong knowledge of domestic and international tax principles.\nProfessional tax qualification or progress toward a recognized tax certification is considered an asset.\nFluency in English is required.
