As a Project Manager in this role, you will lead and oversee data analytics projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery that meets business objectives and enhances decision-making capabilities through data insights.\nResponsibilities\nProject Planning and Execution:\nDevelop comprehensive project plans defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.\nCoordinate resources and tasks effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.\nManage project dependencies, risks, and issues; develop mitigation strategies as needed.\nStakeholder Management:\nServe as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.\nFacilitate regular meetings and status updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.\nTeam Leadership and Collaboration:\nLead and motivate cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and IT professionals.\nFoster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.\nProvide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and project objectives.\nData Analysis and Insights:\nOversee the execution of data analytics activities, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and actionable insights.\nCollaborate with data analysts and scientists to interpret data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.\nEnsure adherence to data quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.\nProject Monitoring and Reporting:\nMonitor project progress, track milestones, and report on key metrics and KPIs.\nIdentify deviations from plan and implement corrective actions as necessary.\nPrepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.\nSkills and attributes for success\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.\nProven experience as a Project Manager in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.\nStrong understanding of data analytics methodologies, tools, and techniques.\nProficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).\nExcellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.\nPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nExperience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders \nConsulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients\nExperience in a delivery role on Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data or analytics projects \nWhat we look for\nHighly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.
