As a Technical Lead, you will guide engineering efforts, identify high-impact automation opportunities, define architectural standards, and drive the technical roadmap for intelligent AI automation systems across the organization.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nLead the design, enhancement, and support of backend systems and AI agentic workflows\nArchitect scalable solutions using Python, FastAPI, LangGraph, and containerized environments\nIdentify, prioritize, and drive automation opportunities across AI-powered applications\nMentor and guide engineers; perform design/code reviews and uphold engineering best practices\nDefine patterns for multi-step agent workflows, state management, and agent reliability\nLead troubleshooting and performance optimization across backend services and AI agents\nCollaborate with product, data science, and platform teams to align technical execution with business strategy\nOversee schema design and integrations for MongoDB and PostgreSQL\nEstablish standards for CI/CD, observability, and production readiness of AI automation solutions\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong leadership with the ability to guide teams in complex backend and AI workflow development\nDeep analytical and debugging capabilities across distributed and agentic systems\nAbility to drive architectural decisions and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance\nProactive mindset for identifying automation opportunities and improving existing workflows\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nDegree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science\nCore Python ExpertiseDeep understanding of data structures (Lists, Dictionaries, Tuples, Sets) and OOP principles.\nStrong experience designing modular, maintainable, high-performance Python applications.\nExpertise in profiling, debugging, dependency management, and unit testing.\nHands-on experience designing schemas and integrating MongoDB and PostgreSQL.\n\nFastAPI & Backend ArchitectureProven track record architecting and delivering production-grade APIs with FastAPI\nStrong knowledge of Pydantic models, async/await patterns, authentication frameworks, and API security\nExpertise with Docker, Docker Compose, YAML-based configurations, and container networking\n\nLangGraph & AI Agentic WorkflowsExperience architecting multi-step agent workflows using nodes, edges, and centralized state management\nAbility to define patterns for conversation state handling, context propagation, retries, and fallback logic\nStrong skills in debugging failed agent flows and tracing execution paths\n\nIdeally, you’ll also\nExperience building microservices or distributed backend systems\nExposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern DevOps pipelines\nExperience with LLM-based applications or AI automation tooling\nPrior experience leading or mentoring engineering teams\nWhat we look for\nA strategic technical leader passionate about AI automation and agentic system design\nSomeone who brings both architectural vision and hands-on engineering excellence\nA leader who fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and ensures delivery of high-quality AI capabilities\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
