You’ll work with cutting-edge tools, collaborate with talented professionals, and grow your skills in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.\nYour key responsibilities:\nYou’ll be:\nMonitoring and analysing security alerts using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats in real time\nInvestigating potential vulnerabilities and staying informed on the latest cyber trends\nDocumenting incidents and contributing to response strategies and post-incident reviews\nGuiding and mentoring junior analysts, helping them grow while strengthening the team\nRecommending improvements to tools and processes to enhance our SOC’s effectiveness\nCollaborating with IT and other teams to improve the organisation’s overall security posture\nSkills and attributes for success:\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll need:\nA strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and threat detection\nExperience working with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or Sentinel\nConfidence in analysing logs from tools like EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and proxies\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or ISO 27001\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nClear and confident communication skills\nIdeally, you’ll also have:\nCertifications such as GIAC (GCIA, GCIH, GMON), CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or Microsoft SC-200\nExperience with cloud security monitoring (Azure, AWS, or GCP)\nKnowledge of scripting or automation tools like Python or PowerShell\nExposure to threat intelligence platforms and how they integrate into SOC workflows\nPrevious consulting or client-facing experience\nWhat we look for:\nWe’re looking for someone who’s curious, collaborative, and committed to making a difference.
