As part of this growing team, you will also get to help shape the innovative culture that makes EY such a great place to work.\nYour key responsibilities\nAs a Technical Analyst, you will work with our clients to understand business goals and priorities, capture these as requirements and translate the requirements into key technical business artifacts.\nYou will build valuable relationships with our clients through demonstrating exceptional delivery. \nYou’ll also have the responsibility to help grow and win new business by contributing to proposals and client presentations. \nYou will also get to draw on your skills and experience, creating innovative insights for clients looking to develop their change agenda to deliver value and improve their operations.\nSkills and attributes for success\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nAt least 5 years’ experience within a consulting firm, industry or government organisation within the local, European or US market.\nDemonstrated continuous learning including a third level degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT related area.\nExperience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Health, TMT and Government & Public Sector.\nAbility to effectively work across all phases of the project lifecycle.\nExperience in performing analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations to clients.\nGood knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. cloud, databases, Business Intelligence, software development and integration).\nStrong communication skills, including prioritising, problem-solving and interpersonal relationship building.\nExperience gathering, defining and documenting business and solution requirements for the enhancement, replacement, or introduction of IT systems.\nExperience in Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nIdeally, you will also have\nExperience in Functional Design.\nExperience analysing systems and procedures, process design and modelling, and documenting ‘As is’ and ‘To be’ assessments for a Target Operating Model.\nExperience in performing gap analysis and collaborating with technical resources on solution proposals, technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.\nExperience conducting workshops and interviews.\nWhat we look for\nWe look for people who have:\nStrong people management skills, including managing a team of Technical Analysts and supporting them in terms of career development.\nExperience with Stakeholder Management and working collaboratively with Development and Testing teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client and user business needs.\nExperience in the delivery of large-scale business/technology programmes.\nWhat working at EY offers\nWe offer a competitive remuneration package.
