Additionally, you may recommend, consult or perform treatments related to skin care and maintaining the health of the eye and surrounding area. \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvides evaluation of skin condition and recommends skin care products and services related to safe eye care \nDemonstrates professionalism during interactions with patients, coworkers, and vendors \nPerforms all State Board-approved services as defined by company, such as facials, chemical peels, silk peels, waxing, brow/lash tints, make up application, laser hair removal, IPL, IR, Dermal Genesis, etc. \nGives quarterly report on products sold and remaining inventory and maintains product inventory \nAssists with informational seminars \nMaintains records of patient visits, which include history, examination and treatments along with photos when necessary\nAdheres to all policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service\nPerforms other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization\nQUALIFICATIONS\nProfessional in appearance and actions \nLogical and critical thinking skills \nCustomer-focused with excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills \nEnjoys learning new technologies and systems \nDetail oriented, professional attitude, reliable \nExhibits a positive attitude and is flexible in accepting work assignments and priorities \nMeets attendance and tardiness expectations \nManagement and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function \nAbility to follow or provide verbal and written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations \nInterpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and team mate support need \nAble to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing \nAbility for basic to intermediate problem solving, including mathematics \nSpecialty knowledge of systems relating to job function \nKnowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines \nFavorable result on background check required\nMust be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required\nPrevious medical office experience preferred\nPrevious optical experience strongly preferred\nLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS\nEsthetician license required\nSYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY\nBasic knowledge of computer systems and applications required\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThis role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25-50%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuity-including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus-is required 100% of the time.
