We are hiring a Senior IT Manager to own day-to-day operations across that estate and lead the team that runs it. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will set direction and standards, but you are also comfortable in a terminal, a firewall console, and a change review. You will be the escalation point for complex incidents and the person who turns recurring pain into permanent fixes. In return we offer a high-impact role, significant career growth opportunities, and a supportive, high energy culture where your contributions are truly valued.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\nInfrastructure & Cloud Operations\nOwn the health, capacity, and lifecycle of on-premises virtualization and hosted infrastructure across multiple sites, including hypervisor platforms, storage, and backup/DR.\nManage cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud and/or Azure/AWS): compute, Kubernetes, managed databases, networking, IAM, and cost governance.\nDrive infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices so environments are reproducible and documented rather than tribal knowledge.\nLead platform migration and modernization projects end to end — planning, risk assessment, cutover, and rollback.\nSecurity, Identity & Compliance\nOperate and improve the security stack: perimeter firewalls, endpoint protection, patch and vulnerability management, email security, and logging/monitoring.\nAdminister enterprise identity: Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, SSO and OIDC integrations, conditional access, MFA, privileged access, and joiner-mover-leaver processes.\nMaintain evidence, controls, and audit readiness for SOC 2 (and support customer security reviews, questionnaires, and export-control/data-residency inquiries).\nLead incident response for security events: containment, remediation, root cause, and after-action reporting.\nTeam & Service Management\nLead, coach, and develop the IT team; set on-call and escalation expectations and build depth so no single person is a bottleneck.\nOwn the service desk experience: SLAs, ticket quality, knowledge base, and onboarding/offboarding that works on day one.\nRun change management and maintenance windows with appropriate review, communication, and documentation.\nDefine and report operational metrics — uptime, ticket volume and aging, patch compliance, backup success, spend.\nVendor, Budget & Planning\nManage vendor and SaaS relationships: renewals, licensing posture, right-sizing, and consolidation opportunities.\nContribute to annual budgeting and produce cost analyses and recommendations for leadership.\nPartner with Product, Engineering, and Finance on shared infrastructure decisions and internal tooling.\nExperience and Education:\n10+ years in IT infrastructure or operations, including 3+ years leading a team or function.\nDeep hands-on experience administering both Windows Server, Linux and Macs in production.\nStrong virtualization background (HPE VME, VMware vSphere, KVM-based platforms, or equivalent) including migration experience.\nProduction experience with at least one major public cloud, including Kubernetes and managed database services.\nSolid networking fundamentals: routing, VLANs, VPN, DNS/DHCP, TLS, and enterprise firewall administration.\nPractical scripting/automation ability (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and comfort with Git-based workflows.\nDemonstrated ownership of security operations and a compliance framework such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF.\nClear written communication — able to produce a runbook, a post-incident report, and a recommendation memo for executives.\n\nWhat We Value:\nStrong leadership and collaboration.\nStrategic thinking combined with a hands-on, proactive approach.\nStrong organizational and analytical skills.\nA security-conscious and solutions-focused mindset.\nThrives in fast-paced, innovative environments with a growth mentality. \nA commitment to continuous improvement.\n\nWhy Join Us:\nBe a foundational team member in a high-growth, high-visibility expansion initiative. \nCompetitive base salary and benefits.\nProfessional development programs and career growth pathways. \nStrong culture of collaboration, recognition, and support. \nOpportunity to directly impact the digital transformation of leading global manufacturers. \n\nAbout Eyelit Technologies: \nEyelit Technologies is a leading provider of integrated software solutions that optimize manufacturing plant and multi-plant productivity across complex industries such as semiconductor, automotive, medical device, electronics, and A&D.
