Built on more than 130 years of utility expertise, we bring together technology, data, services, and operational know-how to help utilities make infrastructure work better.\nToday, our teams support customers across Europe and beyond, spanning more than 75 markets and over 100 million connected endpoints.\nJoin a business built on generations of expertise and help shape what comes next.\nJob Purpose\nThe Artwork Technician is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation, and production support of artwork, drawings, and marking files used for laser marking and printing in EYKON manufacturing environments.\nThe role ensures that all artwork and marking outputs are technically correct, production-ready, system-compatible, and compliant with applicable product, customer, and regulatory requirements across production lines.\nKey Responsibilities\nArtwork & Drawing Management\nCreate, maintain, and revise artwork, technical drawings, and marking layouts for laser marking and printing applications.\nEnsure artwork is aligned with approved drawings, BOMs, and product specifications.\nManage artwork versions, revisions, and traceability in accordance with EYKON procedures.\nSupport engineering changes and product updates related to artwork and marking content.\nLaser Marking Support\nPrepare, validate, and release laser marking files for production use.\nEnsure laser files are compatible with approved laser systems and production materials.\nSupport analysis and resolution of laser-marking issues, including contrast, alignment, and readability.\nEnsure fonts, symbols, and marking layouts meet technical and compliance constraints.\nLaser configuration setup when it is required.\nPrinting & Labeling\nPrepare and maintain label artwork for industrial printers.\nEnsure correct handling of variable production data such as serial numbers and barcodes.\nValidate printed output against approved artwork and quality requirements.\nManufacturing Systems & Data Integration\nΕnsure correct integration of artwork with MES and production software.\nVerify correct behavior of dynamic production data.\nEnsure consistency between artwork, production orders, and system data.\nQuality, Compliance & Documentation\nEnsure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and certifications.\nSupport quality investigations related to artwork and marking.\nContribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nMaintain required technical documentation.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT/MES, Supply Chain, and external partners.\nAct as the technical point of contact for artwork-related topics.\nCommunicate clearly regarding constraints, risks, and changes.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nTechnical education in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, IT, or equivalent industrial experience.\nProfessional Experience & Skills\nExperience with artwork preparation for industrial laser marking and printing.\nStrong knowledge of vector-based artwork tools.\nUnderstanding of laser marking and industrial printing technologies.\nExperience with technical drawings and production documentation.\nBasic understanding of MES or production IT systems is an advantage.\nFamiliarity with variable data marking and printing.\nLanguages\nProficiency in English, written and spoken.\nCompetencies\nHigh attention to detail and quality.\nStructured, process-oriented working style.\nAbility to work in regulated manufacturing environments.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams\nAnalytical mindset and strong collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in electronics or metering manufacturing.\nKnowledge of regulatory markings and certification symbols.\nExperience supporting multiple production lines.\nBackground in IT, software development, networking, or automation is an advantage.\nRole Impact\nEnsures consistent and compliant product marking.\nReduces production disturbances.\nSupports product quality, traceability, and compliance.\nContributes to stable and efficient manufacturing operations.\nWe value and encourage diversity in our team.
