In this role, the Project Manager will develop relationships that lead to a total technology solution that will meet the client’s needs and that will deliver additional products and services while increasing sales, profitability, and maintaining client loyalty and retention through project implementation. The Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning & execution leadership and is the top-level escalation point for project implementations. \n\nResponsibilities\nManage site level and/or enterprise-wide projects.\nMay manage multisite programs to ensure consistency with a common customer.\nApply PMI methodology and internal processes to partners with key stakeholders to define project technology scope, budget, schedule and deliverable expectations.\nDevelop complex project schedules with Microsoft project beginner to intermediate level.\nInteract with diverse personalities both internally and externally and develop business relationship skills for repeatable assignments to the customer.\nImplement project timelines and plans, target clients and ensures that projects meet client objectives through project implementation, subject matter experts, clients and vendor partners to elicit, document, and validate client IT facilities requirements using site visits and client interviews.\nHold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.\nLead client project update meetings on and manage changes in project scope on a regular basis to review project status, potential risks and general project scheduling.\nIdentify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.\nEngage in self-directed continuous improvement of project planning & execution.\n\nQualifications\nCollege or University degree or comparable experience in project management \nAbility to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential project risk throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.\nProven analytical and problem-solving abilities moving project(s) to completion.\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines.\nExceptional customer service orientation and ability to demonstrate client sensitivity.\nHigh-level understanding of Cloud Implementations and Migrations involving Microsoft Office 365. And Azure. Networks, routers, firewalls, switching, circuits, wireless access points and workstation profile setups.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, Project & Visio.\nCapable of multitasking in a high pace environment, effectively and efficiently.\n\nPreferred Skills\nPMP or similar certifications a plus\nManaged services provider (MSP) experience preferred.\nHigh- level understanding of IT-related construction projects including IT cable plant design, IT room layout, IT room ready requirements. WAP placement.\n\nWorking Conditions\nAbility to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision\nAbility to work under a moderate noise level (i.e. working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers)\nOvertime may be required to meet project deadlines (including late nights and weekends)\nAbility to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary\nAbility to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures\nSitting for extended periods of time\nDexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components\nLifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals\n\nECI’s culture is all about connection - connection with our clients, our technology and most importantly with each other.
