You enjoy encoding real business logic in clean code, and you're not afraid to reach for new technologies when they're the right fit.\n\nWhat you get to do in this role\n\nBuild and maintain internet-scale applications and services to a high standard of engineering excellence, across the full stack.\nOwn features end-to-end: scoping, technical design, implementation across front end and back end, testing, and production rollout.\nIndependently deliver new integration frameworks, or extend existing ones, to implement features of medium to high complexity.\nPartner with Project Managers across the org on project and release planning.\nDeliver high-quality, well-written code that others can quickly understand, support, and maintain.\nWrite automated test cases that plug into our Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline.Work within a Lean-Agile / Scrum framework to ship features to production predictably.\nBuild effective relationships with product management, technical teams, systems operations, and service and support.\nPresent and communicate complex ideas and features clearly to a broad audience.\n\nWhat you should have\n3–5 years in software development, with a minimum of 3+ years on the MEAN stack.\nDeep understanding of JavaScript, and hands-on experience with TypeScript.\nStrong command of Node.js and its ecosystem, including Express (or similar frameworks).\nSolid experience with Angular (recent versions) and modern front-end JavaScript.\nDeep understanding of HTML, CSS, and SCSS.\nConfident with asynchronous programming and how to apply it pragmatically.\nProduction experience with MongoDB and MySQL, including data modelling and schema design that maps cleanly to business processes.\nDeep understanding of MongoDB and query optimization.\nWorking knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis).\nExperience with message queues — ideally RabbitMQ — and event-driven patterns (publish/subscribe, work queues, retries, dead-letter, idempotency).\nAbility to model and apply authorization and permission control across users, systems, and services.\nAbility to serve different data sources and databases to different client platforms (mobile vs desktop) with optimal output.\nFamiliarity with building scalable Node.js applications.\nStrong testing discipline — unit and integration — integrated into CI.\nComfort with Docker and containerized deployment; exposure to a cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.\nFluent with Git-based workflows (GitLab).\n\nNice to have\nWorking experience with Web Components.\nWorking experience with React.\nGraphQL.\nExperience building no-code / low-code platforms or highly configurable, metadata-driven systems — a strong plus given Epik's zero-code product.\nPrior work on developer platforms or complex web applications.\n\nWhat you get\nCompetitive compensation, generous benefits, and a collaborative, inclusive environment.
