There is no fixed playbook and the scope will move with the company: events, facilities, university recruiting and collaboration, communications, customer initiatives, investor prep, supply chain, or something we have not encountered yet. The job is to understand what matters, organize it, and make sure it gets done. Go the extra mile because you care.\n\nAct with urgency - every hour matters more than it feels like it does.\n\nBe responsible for the outcome, not just the task; if it is not working, it remains your problem until it is fixed.\n\nAssume good intent - disagree openly, then commit fully once a call is made.\n\nCore Responsibilities\nTake on high-priority projects directly from the CEO and leadership team whatever the business needs most in a given week.\n\nMove fast without a playbook: figure out what needs to happen and make it happen, even without a template to follow.\n\nWork cross-functionally across the company, building context quickly on unfamiliar problems.\n\nBring structure and follow-through to ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nDemonstrated ability to move fast and figure things out without a playbook, shown through past work, projects, or other commitments that required real initiative under pressure.\n\nLow ego, high accountability. Takes responsibility for outcomes without needing credit.\n\nComfortable operating with direct exposure to executive leadership and switching between very different types of projects.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nA track record of high-level competitive commitment, whether athletics or a comparable high-intensity pursuit, that demonstrates discipline, coachability, and performing under pressure.\n\nExposure to fast-paced, ambiguous environments (startups, competitive sports, high-stakes academic programs).\n\nAdditional Requirements\nThis is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to Fuse's San Leandro, CA facility.\n\nPosition occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.\n\nPosition may require some business travel to other Fuse facilities.\n\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage.\n\nRelocation assistance for roles that require it.\n\nFlexible time off.
