You’ll partner directly with our engineering leadership and talent team to identify and hire exceptional talent across software engineering, forward deployed engineering, AI, infrastructure, and other technical roles, while helping shape the systems, processes, and recruiting strategy we use as we scale.\nThis is a hands-on recruiting role. You'll own searches end-to-end, but sourcing will be at the center of what you do. We're looking for someone who knows how to map technical talent markets, find exceptional engineers who aren't actively looking, and get them excited about an early-stage company.\nYou'll have significant ownership over some of the most important hires we make and help shape how F2 recruits technical talent as we scale.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn technical searches end-to-end across Engineering and other technical functions\n\nBuild deep pipelines of exceptional passive engineering talent\n\nDevelop talent maps across target companies, technical backgrounds, and geographies\n\nPartner closely with engineering leadership to define profiles and continuously calibrate on talent\n\nSource and engage highly sought-after candidates through thoughtful, personalized outreach\n\nRun a high-quality candidate process from first conversation through offer and close\n\nDevelop a strong understanding of F2's technology, product, and engineering culture and communicate that story effectively to candidates\n\nHelp hiring managers build structured interview processes and scorecards\n\nUse recruiting data and pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring velocity\n\nMaintain an exceptional candidate experience while operating with speed\n\nHelp improve our recruiting systems, processes, and tools as we scale\n\nWhat we're looking for\n3+ years of recruiting experience with meaningful experience hiring technical talent\n\nA track record of sourcing and hiring exceptional software engineers\n\nStrong technical sourcing skills and the ability to identify great candidates beyond obvious profiles\n\nComfortable recruiting passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets\n\nStrong judgment and an ability to calibrate quickly with technical hiring managers\n\nExcellent candidate management and closing skills\n\nExperience partnering directly with engineering leaders\n\nComfortable managing multiple searches and priorities in a fast-moving environment\n\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through\n\nHigh ownership, low ego, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed\n\nExcited to work in person with the team in New York\n\nNice to have\nExperience recruiting at a high-growth AI, fintech, or B2B software company\n\nExperience recruiting engineers from top-tier technology companies and high-growth startups\n\nExperience hiring AI/ML, infrastructure, or forward deployed engineers\n\nExperience building technical teams at an early-stage company\n\nFamiliarity with Ashby or similar modern recruiting tools\n\nWhy F2\nYou'll join F2 at a stage where the quality of every engineering hire matters.
