And it means we prioritize a diverse F5 community where each individual can thrive.\nEMEA Senior Events Manager, Hybrid flexible working (Addlestone or London)\n12-month fixed term contract\nRole Overview\nThe Senior Events Manager plays a critical role in planning and executing F5s attendance at industry events as well as high-impact customer, partner and executive events. Reporting into the Sr Director EMEA Marketing, this role leads every stage of an event lifecycle-from strategy, planning and supplier management through on-site or hybrid execution, attendee experience and post-event follow-up-ensuring event activity is delivered to a consistently high standard and achieves clear business outcomes.\nThis role is suited to a strategic, highly experienced events professional with a proven track record of independently leading complex, high-impact programmes with limited oversight. The successful candidate will combine exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail with strong executive presence, confidently coordinating multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, agencies and vendors while maintaining ownership of timelines, budgets, risks and results.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan and execute EMEA third party and hosted events that support F5 EMEA’s GTM strategy and priorities \nWork with multiple stakeholders to build a comprehensive project plan for each event, with clear outcomes, responsibilities, timelines and deliverables\nPartner with regional marketing and sales leaders to assess event opportunities, define F5’s participation and ensure investment is aligned with priority audiences, markets and business objectives\nCoordinate sponsorship activation, speaker participation, executive engagement, customer meetings, demonstrations and supporting campaign activity to maximise F5’s presence and impact\nManage relationships with organisers, agencies, venues and suppliers, overseeing deadlines, entitlements, budgets, logistics and on-site delivery\nEvaluate performance against agreed objectives, capturing attendee engagement, stakeholder feedback, pipeline impact and lessons learned to inform future investment decisions\nSupport the planning and execution of EMEA conferences. Work in collaboration with the EMEA events specialist, corporate events team and the EMEA marketing team to support the co-ordinated effort to drive customers and partners to our annual user conference\nCollaborate with key stakeholders to shape the strategy, objectives, audience journey, agenda, format, programme plan and success measures \nDefine and tailor the end-user experience for each hosted event, ensuring it resonates with the distinct needs and expectations of audiences ranging from practitioners to C-suite executives\nBackground & Experience\n8+ years of event management experience in a technology or corporate environment\nProven track record of independently managing large-scale, high-impact events end to end, including multi-national user conferences and strategic third party events\nDemonstrated ability to lead programme meetings, communicate complex ideas and influence senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organisation\nUnderstanding of audio-visual equipment and production processes for in-person and hybrid event delivery\nExperience negotiating vendor contracts and managing agencies, venues, production partners and vendor teams\nDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing all tasks and deliverables accurately and on time\nKey Skills\nStrong project management, organisational and budgeting skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously\nExceptional communication skills and executive presence, with the confidence to engage senior leaders\nExpertise in event-related technologies and platforms for in-person and hybrid programmes - knowledge of CVENT and Tableau preferable\nStrong commercial judgement, budget ownership and vendor negotiation skills\nAbility to analyse feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement\nSkilled at building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions \nExpert at defining objectives and developing solutions to complete complex assignments independently\nCollaborative team player who thrives in a matrixed, global environment\nFlexible, proactive and calm under pressure, with a solutions-first mindset\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally\nThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
