We work with leading infrastructure, security, data, and AI ecosystem companies to align roadmaps, develop integrated solutions, and execute joint go-to-market motions.\n\nSummary: \nThe Principal Technical Alliance Manager will own a portfolio of high-impact technology alliances, with Dell Technologies representing a key strategic relationship. This senior individual contributor will define multi-year plans, influence product and solution roadmaps, and lead cross-functional execution across F5 and partner organizations. The role will also bring partner insights, market trends, and customer requirements into F5's ecosystem planning. Success requires autonomy, executive influence, and measurable outcomes in solution delivery, adoption, qualified pipeline, and partner-influenced business impact.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAlliance Strategy: Own portfolio priorities, governance, investment tradeoffs, and multi-year business plans. Align partner capabilities with F5 corporate, product, and go-to-market priorities, and represent ecosystem insights to senior leadership.\nJoint Solutions and Roadmaps: Identify high-value customer use cases and lead integrated solutions through roadmap alignment, technical validation, launch, and lifecycle management.\nExecutive Relationships: Build trusted relationships with F5 and partner executives, product leaders, and engineering teams; establish sponsorship, governance, and accountability.\nJoint Go-to-Market: Lead positioning, enablement, co-marketing, field engagement, lighthouse customer initiatives, and sales plays that generate qualified pipeline and accelerate adoption.\nCross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate resources across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and partner teams without direct authority; resolve competing priorities and maintain momentum.\nBusiness Performance: Define metrics and executive operating cadences; assess alliance health, solution adoption, ecosystem engagement, pipeline, partner-influenced opportunities, and return on investment.\nEcosystem Development and Thought Leadership: Track technology, market, and competitive shifts; identify emerging AI and ecosystem opportunities; and advise senior leaders on partnership strategy and alliance best practices.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to develop alliance strategies, business cases, joint value propositions, operating models, and executive-ready recommendations.\nDeep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, application delivery, security, data, and AI ecosystems and the processes required to launch and scale integrated solutions.\nDemonstrated ability to shape strategic direction, influence executive decisions, and lead through complexity and ambiguity.\nExceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.\nProven ability to influence senior leaders and distributed cross-functional teams without direct authority.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft 365, and AI-enabled tools.\n\nQualifications:\n10+ years of experience in technology alliances, strategic business development, product partnerships, or a related enterprise technology role.\n7+ years leading complex technology partnerships with measurable product, customer, adoption, pipeline, or business outcomes.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-company initiatives involving Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing from strategy through execution.\nExperience with enterprise infrastructure, security, data, or AI ecosystem companies; experience with Dell Technologies or another global technology provider is highly valued.\nDemonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders internally and externally.\nDemonstrated judgment in using AI-enabled tools responsibly, including validating outputs and protecting confidential information.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree is a plus.\n\nWhy Join Us:\nStrategic Impact: Shape high-impact alliances and translate partner innovation into differentiated customer and business outcomes.\nLeadership Visibility: Advise senior leaders and influence strategic decisions across F5 and partner organizations.\nGrowth Opportunity: Help advance F5's ecosystem strategy across AI, security, infrastructure, and data platforms.\nIf you are a strategic technology alliance leader who can shape portfolio direction, influence across organizational boundaries, and turn complex partnerships into differentiated solutions and measurable business outcomes, we invite you to apply for this principal-level opportunity.\nThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
