As part of the Security Operations Platform Engineering (SOPE) team, this role focuses on the reliability, effectiveness, and operational maturity of technologies supporting data protection, endpoint security, and related security capabilities. The engineer partners closely with Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Logging Engineering, and IT teams to ensure security platforms provide the visibility, controls, and telemetryrequiredto protect the organization while supporting ongoing automation and operational excellence initiatives.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nImplement andmaintain enterprise security platforms with emphasis on DLP, endpoint security, and related SecOps technologies.\n\nConfigure andoptimize security controls, policies, integrations, and telemetry to improve platform effectiveness and operational outcomes.\n\nDevelop and enhance automation, monitoring, and operational processes that improve platform reliability, scalability, and efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Logging Engineering, and other Technology Services teams to support security operations and investigations.\n\nEvaluate and test new platform capabilities, integrations, and security technologies to address evolving business and security requirements.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and security infrastructure domains.\n\nCreate andmaintain technical documentation, runbooks, standards, and operational procedures whileparticipatingin an engineering on-call rotation.\n\nRequired Skills / Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related technology disciplines.\n\nExperience deploying, administering, or supporting enterprise security technologies and security controls.\n\nStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles across endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and data security domains.\n\nExperience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Skills / Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Purview, Netskope, CrowdStrike Falcon, or comparable DLP and endpoint security platforms.\n\nExperience with CASB, SSE, Insider Risk Management, or related data security technologies.\n\nExperience integrating security platforms using APIs, automation, or workflow orchestration.\n\nFamiliarity with SIEM platforms, security telemetry pipelines, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.\n\nExperience supporting cloud environments and services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.\n\nWork Environment\nThis is a full-time engineering role and is not a shift-based position.Participation in an engineering on-call rotation isrequiredand may occasionally require support outside normal business hours during critical incidents or platform maintenance activities.
