TheSr.Security Engineer position will develop and implement strategic processesand buildtechnical solutions to enable our information security program and continuously improve our security posture amidst the industry’s evolving technology landscape.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nIdentifyorganizational risks to confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and determineappropriate mitigations.\n\nLeverage native Azure, GCP, and AWS cloud services to automate and improve existing security and control activities.\n\nDevelop or implementopen-source/third-party tools toassistin detection,preventionand analysis of security threats\n\nPerform technical security assessments againstF5aaS product andenterprise cloud hosted, virtual, andon-premisesystems including static and dynamic analysis, and threat modeling.\n\nReview and test changes to services, applications, and networks for potential security impacts.\n\nManagepenetration and segmentation testing ofF5applications andnetworks.\n\nReview changes to and ongoing operations ofenterpiseenvironments and supporting systems for security and compliance impacts.\n\nAssistin detection and response efforts as a product line subject matter expert.\n\nPropose new controls to Security Architecture and GRC.\n\nBuild and implement new security controls,processesand tools.\n\nImplementzero-trustand IAM securitypatterns withcloud agnostictooling\n\nCollaborate with Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering and Operations teams to develop and implement technical solutionsand security standards.\n\nConfigure industry standardsecurity testing/scanning tools (network scanning, code scanning, posture management).\n\nAdvise enterprise stakeholders on security best practices and secure design principles.\n\nImplement, design, develop, administer, and manage enterprise security tooling.\n\nKnowledge,Skillsand Abilities\nExperience working with high-availability enterprise production environments\n\nAbility to script in multiples languages (Go, Rust, Python, Ruby, etc.) and experience building scripts for process improvements and automation\n\nBaseline competency in administration of Microsoft Azure Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)or equivalent public cloud infrastructure.\n\nTechnical knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with security and networking architecture, networking protocols, network security design, wireless security, intrusion prevention/detection, andfirewallarchitecture.\n\nExperience automating security testing and reporting outputs\n\nKnowledge or familiarity with technologicalstack(Big-IP, Azure, AWS, GCP, CentOS,Linux, Kubernetes, DockerHashicorpVault, Palo Alto, Cisco, Qualys).\n\nExperience assessing and implementing technical security controls\n\nExposure to DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines,container orchestration,and infrastructure as code approach (e.g.Puppet,Chef,Ansible,Terraform, Jenkins,CircleCI, Artifactory, Git)\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExperience with network and application vulnerability and penetration testing tools\n\nWillingness to innovate and learnnew technologies\n\nExcellent interpersonal and relationship skills with a collaborative mindset\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong self-directed work habits,exhibitinginitiative, drive, creativity, maturity,self-assuranceand professionalism.\n\nAgile, tactful, andproactiveattitudethat can manage prioritization and know when to escalate.\n\nQualifications\nB.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience\n\n5years ofprogressive responsibilityin a security organization\n\n2-6yearsof relevantsecurity engineering or network security experience\n#LI-SS5\n\nThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
