An SE must have excellent technical skills and knowledge of F5 products and the “eco-system” we work in to be effective. Fear not; we provide training and certification to keep abreast with these critical skills!\nThe high-level objective is to achieve the allocated sales target and sell relevant F5 solutions and products to our customer's business needs in partnership with the Sales Account Manager. From our customer(s) perspective, the SE is a trusted adviser who proactively learns and understands their technical and business challenges and can propose effective solutions to mitigate their concerns/offer gainful solutions. Read on!\nWhat you’ll do:\nArticulate the F5 product strategy, messaging, and positioning of F5’s value proposition and solutions for customer business objectives \nProvide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations, and proof of concepts by various mediums - in-person/virtual presentations, whiteboards, etc \nDetermine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure. \nDrive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by identifying the Technical Decision Maker getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship. \nConsistently provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle.\nWork collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices updates, and offer and seek expertise as the need arises in various opportunities. \nServe as a technical expert and trusted advisor for F5 Distributed Cloud solutions to design and deliver secure, cloud-native application and networking services to our customers. \nProvide deep expertise in Web Application and API security, helping customers protect, manage, and scale their ecosystems. \nServe as the technical lead in complex sales cycles, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.\nCollaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to align product offerings with customer needs and market demands.\nMentor and guide junior sales engineers, sharing expertise and best practices.\nHow you’ll do it:\nExperience with F5 Products, including BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, SSLO, and ASM/AWAF), NGINX, and F5 SaaS (Distributed Cloud) services\nAdvanced knowledge of ADCs and TCP/IP networking\nExperience with F5 iRules and other customizations\nAdvanced F5 solution knowledge and how to effectively use them to solve customer challenges\nOperate with high autonomy, setting priorities for self and others while acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.\nWhat you’ll bring:\n8+ years of related industry experience \nBS/BA or equivalent work experience\nFamiliarity/experience with F5 or similar industry solution deployment is a plus \nRelevant certifications are a plus\nStrong interpersonal and presentation skills required\nAbility to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment\nWhat you’ll get:\nThis is a self-driven role, so career growth and development is available at every career stage. \nCompetitive pay, family-friendly benefits, and cool perks\nTuition assistance for professional development\nCulture of giving back, strong diversity and inclusion interest groups\nNote: 20-30% Travel will be required in this role.\nThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
