The role will support mission-critical customer-facing platforms, including cloud-native applications and services running on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS infrastructure, production operations, reliability engineering, automation, monitoring, and incident management.\nYou will work closely with development, platform, and operations teams to improve service reliability, operational excellence, deployment efficiency, and production support coverage across global environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and support production services hosted on AWS.\nParticipate in on-call rotations, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.\nImprove platform reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.\nSupport production deployments, release activities, and hyper-care events.\nDevelop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.\nAutomate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nPerform system health checks, capacity planning, and proactive issue remediation.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to enhance operational readiness and resiliency.\nCreate and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and security compliance initiatives.\nParticipate in post-incident reviews and drive corrective and preventive actions.\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n2-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Production Support.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:EC2\nECS/EKS\nLambda\nRDS\nS3\nCloudWatch\nVPC\nIAM\nRoute53\nAuto Scaling\n\nExperience with Linux system administration.\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.\nScripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\nExperience supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or SysOps Administrator certification.\nExperience supporting SaaS or customer-facing platforms.\nExposure to Kubernetes and containerized workloads.\nExperience with incident management and operational excellence practices\nThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
