Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility. \nConducts Root Cause Analyses to identify source of quality issues. \nResponsible for monthly and weekly metric output and continuous improvement activities. \nImplements plant and corporate Quality initiatives and incorporates them into plant goals/objectives. \nSupport the work of the Quality Team to ensure that products and processes align with the appropriate requirements. \nLeads by example when displaying the core values, honesty, integrity, work ethic, and respect for others. \nSite QMS Management Representative. \nLeads internal and external audits as necessary. \nBasic Qualifications\nCollege Degree (in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field) required or equivalent experience. \nFive years’ management and quality experience. \nOther Required Qualifications\nAbility to interact/communicate (both written and verbally) effectively with all levels within the organization as well as customers and suppliers. \nKnowledgeable in Process Control/Process Capability/Lean-Six Sigma Methodologies. \nStrong problem-solving and statistical data analysis capabilities. \nProficient in Root Cause Analysis methods. \nLean experience. \nGood blueprint reading skills. \nCustomer Service focus. \nGood computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP. \nGood budgeting skills and financial acumen. \nSuccessful track record of running Quality function and building an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort. \nGood mentorship skills \nHistory of successfully managing multiple priorities at a time. \nPreferred Qualifications\nTen years of Quality or a combination of Quality and Management experience. \nASQ Certifications. \nACI Concrete Field Testing, Technician Grade I Certification. \nPCI Level III Certification. \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to travel up to 10%. \nOffice: Move 25 lbs.
