The Quality Lead will help facilitate the shift to run as smoothly as possible.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nMaintain a safe work environment and follow all published/posted safety policies. \nSupports Quality Technicians to ensure that products and processes align with the relevant requirements. \nWorks with Production to solve in-house Quality concerns through support of Root Cause Analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process-related concerns. \nResponsible for/assists with the calibration program used to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment, testing and measurement equipment, and all other analytical equipment within the facilities. \nReviews non-conforming product and works with relevant parties to determine disposition. \nAssists with internal and external audits as required. \nWorks with the Quality Manager/Supervisor to review Quality trends to prevent and/or reduce defects, determine Root Causes, and initiate actions to correct them. \nLiaison with internal parties on matters relating to plant Quality (Engineering, Production, Project Management, and Drafting). \nAll other duties as assigned (including Quality Technician Responsibilities as needed). \nPerforms pre- and post-pour inspection and provides Quality support throughout the manufacturing process, including Fresh Concrete Testing and measuring the dimensions of product. \nReports Quality problems to Production personnel and Quality Manager. \nPre-plans for smooth shift transitions and next day readiness. \nCommunicates well to Production teams, Management, and Quality peers. \nBasic Qualifications\nTwo (2) Years of related experience.\nOther Required Qualifications\nKnowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to manipulate data. \nAbility to work in a cooperative and team-oriented environment. \nDemonstrated ability to operate and make decisions independently. \nProven understanding of inspection techniques including ACI and PCI requirements. \nAbility to coach and train Quality Techs and plant workers. \nPreferred Qualifications\nPCI Level 1 and Level 2 Certified. \nACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I Certified. \nPhysical Requirements\nOffice: Move 25 lbs.
