Before Fabric, we ran a staffing business to $2M in annual revenue.\n\nAbout the Role\nFabric is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can own product features end-to-end, from design through delivery. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building reliable backend systems, shipping thoughtful frontend experiences, and working in a fast-moving product environment.\nYou will work across the stack, with a strong focus on Python and Django, while also contributing to frontend development using React and Node.js. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated ownership of independently delivered modules, complete product features, or startup-style generalist engineering work.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn full product features from design through delivery.\nBuild backend services using Python, Django, and Celery.\nWork on distributed systems and asynchronous processing workflows.\nDevelop frontend experiences using React and Node.js.\nCollaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ship reliable features.\nContribute to architecture, implementation, testing, and production readiness of product modules.\nTake ownership of engineering decisions and deliver features with minimal handholding.\n\nMust-Have Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with Python.\nStrong hands-on experience with Django.\nAbility to independently own and ship complete features or modules.\nExperience working in early- to mid-stage product companies.\nSolid understanding of backend engineering and API development.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills\nExperience with Celery.\nExperience with asynchronous job processing or background workers.\nExperience with distributed systems.\nFrontend development experience with React.\nExperience with Node.js.\nExperience working in startup or product engineering environments.\n\nDesired Experience\n3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.\nExperience working in early- to mid-stage product companies.\nDemonstrated ownership of full features, independently delivered modules, or startup-style generalist product engineering work.\nExperience building engineer who has worked in a product company, preferably at an early- to mid-stage startup.\n\nThey should have:\nStrong hands-on experience with Python and Django.\nExperience owning and delivering features end-to-end.\nA solid understanding of backend systems and API development.\nExposure to React and/or Node.js.\nThe ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions.\nA
