This position is integral to supporting our business objectives and enabling our organisation to operate efficiently in an increasingly connected environment.\n\nWhat you'll be doing.\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.\n\nMonitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.\n\nConfigure and manage network security protocols and access controls to protect company data and systems.\n\nPerform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patches to keep systems current and secure.\n\nDocument network configurations, procedures, and changes for audit and compliance purposes.\n\nCollaborate with IT team members and other departments to support network-related requirements and projects.\n\nProvide technical support and guidance to end users on network connectivity and related issues.\n\nMonitor bandwidth usage and optimise network performance to support business operations.\n\nImplement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.\n\nStay updated with emerging networking technologies and best practices in the industry.\n\nWhat we're looking for.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nProven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar network administration role.\n\nStrong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing technologies.\n\nExperience with network monitoring and management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or similar platforms.\n\nProficiency in configuring and managing enterprise-level networking equipment from major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei.\n\nSolid understanding of network security principles and firewalls.\n\nKnowledge of LAN and WAN technologies.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nRelevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.\n\nExperience with cloud networking or software-defined networking (SDN) is a plus.\n\nWhat we offer.\n\nAt Fabrinet Co., Ltd., we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding workplace.
