This is a hands-on leadership role covering employee support, onboarding and offboarding, identity and access, endpoints, business applications, SaaS governance, and vendor management.\nOur environment is built primarily around the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. AI is an important part of the role from an IT management perspective, with responsibility for approved platforms, access, security, cost, and IT automation. The role is a full-time, permanent, on-site position based in Toronto and reports to the VP, Information Security and Privacy.\nKey Responsibilities\nYour Translate business priorities into an IT roadmap, operating plans, policies, budgets, and service improvements.\n\nLead and develop the existing IT team, set priorities, and manage contractors, service providers, and technology vendors.\n\nOwn employee technology support and IT service management, including the support queue, service levels, escalations, major incidents, knowledge, and service reporting.\n\nOwn the technology components of onboarding, role changes, and offboarding in partnership with Human Resources and business leaders.\n\nOversee the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.\n\nManage identity and access across business systems, including SSO, multifactor authentication, provisioning, privileged access, and periodic access reviews.\n\nOwn endpoint and hardware lifecycle management, including approved standards, procurement, provisioning, compliance, inventory, support, recovery, and secure disposal.\n\nManage SaaS governance, licensing, renewals, vendors, technology lifecycle, and cost optimization.\n\nMaintain secure, lean, and scalable IT operations, including integrations, reliability, backup and recovery, and continual improvement.\n\nSupport Information Security with the implementation of IT controls, audit evidence, testing, and remediation activities related to IT operations.\n\nAI Platforms and Access\nAdminister approved AI platforms from an IT perspective, including licensing, access, configuration, integrations, security, privacy, vendor management, usage, and cost.\n\nIdentify and implement AI-enabled automation within IT, including opportunities in support, request fulfillment, onboarding and offboarding, access management, knowledge, asset management, and compliance reporting.\n\nManage user access to Microsoft Fabric through Entra ID and SSO and provide related IT infrastructure support.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.\n\nEight or more years of progressive IT experience, including at least three years leading an IT team.\n\nDemonstrated experience operating and improving employee technology support and ITIL-aligned service management in a hands-on environment.\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, identity and access management, SSO, endpoint management, security, and cloud operations.\n\nExperience managing SaaS tooling, hardware, vendors, budgets, licensing, projects, and service performance.\n\nExperience implementing IT controls and supporting audits in partnership with Information Security in environments subject to SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, or comparable requirements.\n\nExperience evaluating, administering, or implementing enterprise AI tools, AI-enabled SaaS capabilities, or workflow automation in a secure business environment.\n\nStrong leadership, judgment, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on delivery.\n\nRelevant Microsoft, ITIL, or security certifications are assets.\n\nWhy work at FacilityOS?\nWe work hard and play hard and we do both with passion and respect for one another.
