The Senior Sales Specialistis responsible fordriving the assessment and qualification of Performance products and services to prospective buyers and will work alongside the existing Product Specialist Teams. This also includes the provision of sales support via demonstrations, pilots, proofs of concept,discussionsand coordination of activities with FactSet’s sales staff and leadership.\nWhatYou’llDo:\nMaintain a thorough understanding of the performance market, and howthecompetitive landscape affectsthe market.\n\nUnderstand client types and user workflows with the goal ofidentifyingareas of potential growth, and then execute on those opportunities through client engagement and commercial discussions, e.g. Wealth Management,Institutional Asset Management, etc.\n\nDesign tailored product demonstrations to highlightthevalue add of our performance solution to meet specific investment management needs.\n\nPartner with multiple stakeholders such as generalist sales team, analytics specialists, salesengineeringand consultants to run sales engagements including pricing of contracts & coordination with implementation, etc.\n\nShare insights from client interactions to help shape product strategy and future development\n\nSeek outadditionalways to make an impact such as mentoring others, involvement in training, running campaigns and proactively engage with product strategy and development fornew ideas, bugs as well as product improvements.\n\nReport the current state of opportunities to senior management on a regular basis\n\nBuild & expand strong relationships across an international network of individuals at varying levels of the organization, including Product Development, Implementation, etc. as well as outside amongst clients and prospects.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nAt least 10years experiencein a sales and/or client facing role with a strong record and good understanding of customer needs and building effective relationships.\n\nSomeexperience of the Middle Office and the Performance workflow, withpreviousexposure to systems such asB-One,EagleorStatProa real plus.\n\nSelf-starter with a proven ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.\n\nInterpersonal skills along with verbal and written communication skillsrequiredto build relationships and interface with key stakeholders at all levels of the business\n\nStrong organizational and presentation skills.\n\nStrong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.\n\nStrong problem solving/analytical skills.\n\nWillingness to learnnew trendsand aware of industry changes\n\nWillingness to travel\n\nDegree in Finance, Economics,Mathematicsor a related field or equivalent experience; CFA qualifications desirable\n\nJob location: Boston and New York\nWorking Environment: Hybrid\nFor U.S. locations, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future\nWhat's In It For You\nAt FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
