You will lead the design and rollout of SPIFFE/SPIRE as the organization’s identity plane, enabling strong, workload-based identity with mTLS (X.509 SVIDs) and JWT-SVIDs. This role spans architecture, implementation, automation, and operations-establishing HA/SPoF-free deployments, integrating with enterprise PKI/HSM, building verifier libraries for Java/Go/.NET, and enabling rapid adoption through self-service tooling and golden templates.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and build mission critical IAM services, primarily in Java\nDevelop and support large-scale, global systems that adhere to security compliance \nWork with AWS and on-premises systems to deploy services \nDevelop and maintain current and future state IAM documentation and standards \nParticipate in code-reviews and proactively take ownership of PR’s and make sure to catch all security vulnerabilities\nProper collaboration and interaction with multiple teams across FactSet and respond to stake holder queries in a timely manner\nLearn about the errors and incidents in production while participating in the on-call rotation as and when required\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science or a related technical field \n5+ years’ of programming experience in Java or another OOP language\nCandidate should have experience with IAM authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect & SAML.\nBuilt services using a relational database (e.g. MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) \nBasic knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure etc) \nWilling to participate in on-call rotation \nYou may be a good fit for this role if you have:\nImplemented role-based access control systems in large, distributed environment \nWritten RESTful HTTP APIs \nA strong understanding of browser functionality (e.g. Cookies, CORS)\nWhat's In It For You\nAt FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
