They also help organizations, no matter how large or small, to establish, outsource, and troubleshoot any human resources functions / challenges.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Financial Controller\n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nPosition: Financial Controller\n\nDepartment: Finance & Accounts\n\nReports To: Regional Financial Controller\n\nJob Purpose\n\n To lead and manage all financial operations of the automotive business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, cost control, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and profitability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFinancial Reporting & Control:\n\n Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP.\n\n Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.\n\n Ensure integrity of all financial data and enforce internal controls.\n\nBudgeting & Forecasting:\n\n Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting.\n\n Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and provide management with actionable insights.\n\nTreasury & Cash Management:\n\n Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital to ensure liquidity.\n\n Oversee Letters of Credit (LCs), forex procurement, and vehicle import financing.\n\nCompliance & Audit:\n\n Ensure full compliance with FIRS tax obligations (VAT, WHT, CIT, Transfer Pricing).\n\n Coordinate external and internal audits;
