They shape how we work every day, our relationships with clients, and the way we collaborate as a team.\nOpportunity\nWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced AI Engineering Lead to join our growing AI Engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering production-ready AI solutions focused on LLM applications, agentic workflows, AI orchestration, RAG systems, and AI automation.\nThis is primarily a hands-on engineering role with technical leadership responsibilities. You will help lead one AI Engineering team through technical execution, mentoring, and engineering best practices, while remaining deeply involved in implementation and solution delivery.\nYou will work closely with Product Managers, Architects and engineering teams to build scalable and reliable AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value in real enterprise environments.\nYour responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain production-ready AI solutions using modern LLM and agentic AI technologies\n\nDevelop AI workflows, orchestration layers, RAG pipelines, and AI automation capabilities\n\nBuild scalable and maintainable AI services, APIs, and integrations using Python and modern backend engineering practices\n\nPrototype, iterate, and productionize AI capabilities in a fast-moving and experimental environment\n\nImplement prompt engineering, context management, tool usage, and structured AI output strategies\n\nDevelop evaluation, validation, testing, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms to ensure AI reliability and quality in production\n\nContribute to AI governance, observability, security, and operational best practices\n\nCollaborate closely with Architects to align AI solutions with the broader platform architecture and engineering standards\n\nWork closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into practical AI solutions\n\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to our AI Engineering team\n\nSupport technical execution alignment, implementation quality, and engineering best practices within the team\n\nParticipate in technical interviews, hiring, and the growth of the AI Engineering capability within the organization\n\nStay current with emerging AI technologies, tooling, and engineering practices relevant to enterprise AI development\n\nWhat you bring to the table\nStrong software engineering experience with Python and modern backend development practices\n\nHands-on experience building production-ready AI/LLM applications and workflows\n\nExperience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI orchestration technologies\n\nExperience designing and implementing RAG architectures and vector database integrations\n\nPractical understanding of AI agents, orchestration patterns, tool calling, and context management\n\nExperience working with cloud AI platforms, preferably AWS Bedrock\n\nStrong understanding of AI system reliability, validation, evaluation, monitoring, and governance concepts\n\nExperience building scalable APIs and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise systems\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nAbility to explain complex AI concepts and trade-offs in a clear, practical, and business-oriented way\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AI observability, tracing, and monitoring tools\n\nExperience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms and workflows\n\nUnderstanding of AI security, data privacy, and governance considerations\n\nExperience mentoring engineers or technically leading engineering initiatives\n\nFamiliarity with prompt evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, and AI quality validation approaches\n\nExperience working in Agile product development environments\n\nWhat We Value\nPragmatic engineering mindset focused on delivering real business value\n\nStrong ownership and accountability\n\nCuriosity, adaptability, and continuous learning\n\nCollaborative and team-oriented approach\n\nAbility to balance experimentation with production reliability\n\nAttention to quality, scalability, and maintainability\n\nProactive communication and transparent problem-solving\n\nPassion for building innovative yet practical AI solutions\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-moving and evolving AI landscape\n\nWhy you should join us\nBecome part of a fast-growing insurance software vendor with multinational teams across Europe -
