Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.\nMaintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.\nMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.\nMaintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements.\nMeet with Sous Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.\nComplete opening and closing duties.\nStart prep work and production of items needed for the day.\nCheck Point of Sale printer at the work station; ensure that it is in working order and there is enough paper available for the shift.\nPrepare all plates following recipes and yield guides.\nInform Sous Chef of any shortages before the item runs out.\nCommunicate any assistance needed during busy periods to the Sous Chef to ensure optimum service to guest & residents.\nInform Cook 1 of any excess items that can be used in daily specials or elsewhere.\nMaintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Resort requirements.\nREQUIREMENTS\nHigh School diploma/ equivalent education is required. Formal culinary training is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience.
