Come build your future with us!\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior Maintenance Technician performs daily maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures the safety and cleanliness of the property, maintains amenities, and responds to maintenance requests promptly and professionally. This position also involves supervising outside contractors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.\nThis role involves regular on-site visits to properties across the Greater Houston area, so candidates should live within the region. To support travel, a monthly auto allowance is provided.\nWhat You'll Do\nBelow is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus.\nMaintenance and Repairs\nPerform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in various areas.\nRespond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.\nProperty and Amenity Maintenance\nMaintain pool, hot tub, and other amenities.\nEnsure safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.\nMaintain exterior property for curb appeal.\nPreventative Maintenance and Inspections\nSchedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns.\nConduct regular inspections of common areas and equipment.\nSupervision and Coordination\nSupervise duties and outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.\nCoordinate move-ins and move-outs.\nSafety and Compliance\nAssist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations.\nReport potential liabilities and ensure property compliance.\nInventory and Supplies Management\nMaintain inventory and assist in purchasing materials and supplies.\nResident and Community Engagement\nParticipate in resident functions and assist with posting notices.\nWhy You'll Love Fairfield\nWe're all about creating communities that people are proud to call home.
