functions include\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nResponsibilities include but not limited to:\n\nConsistently offers professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues\n\nEnsures consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and or buffet menu according to hotel recipes and standards\n\nConducts daily shift briefings to kitchen colleagues\n\nEnsures all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards & expectations\n\nLiaise daily with Outlet Managers to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback\n\nMaintain and enhance the food products through creative menu development and presentation\n\nHave full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions\n\nActively interact with guests at tables\n\nBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needs\n\nEnsure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines\n\nEnsure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment\n\nFollow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards\n\nFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nDiploma/certification in a culinary discipline an asset\n\nPrevious experience in the culinary field \n\nJouneyman’s papers or international equivalent as an asset\n\nStrong Interpersonal skills\n\nHighly responsible and reliable\n\nAbility to work cohesively with the team\n\nAbility to focus on guests’ needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times\n\nPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):\n\nFrequent standing and walking throughout shift \n\nOccasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs \n\nFrequent kneeling,
